Comes off the bench on short rest, in the 73rd minute of a 2-1 loss to 1860 Munich.

DNP in a 2-1 loss to Union, for anyone in suspense. Match did feature YA-ish Julian Ryerson scoring for Dortmund, though. Union jump over Dortmund for the last European slot in the standings.

Crazy. It could be argued it is more likely we see Campbell play for BVB before Gio. Eager to see him get a crack.

This would be a much needed positive next to Pulisic playing well against a lot of early season injuries if he can get some sub appearances this season.

Would be a really pleasant surprise if he does play but I think post winter-break is the most realistic integration

No debut today. Final minute and Watjen, with just two senior appearances before today, is used as the final sub window as a time-waster for Brandt in a 2-1 win. In addition to barely-played Watjen, the bench had FOUR players who would have made their senior debut including Campbell. BVB win 2-1 on a late Guirassy header after allowing an equalizer.

Campbell is on the bench tonight vs Real Madrid. What a moment for the kid! Probably take disaster for him to get on the pitch but what a feather in his cap. The kid is moving up the ladder quickly.

    Speaking of disaster…. BvB blew a 2-0 lead in a very BvB-esque fashion.:D

Dortmund use two halftime subs, then a third bringing on the last experienced player from the bench. Fourth sub is giving a debut to highly touted Almugera Kabar who comes on for yank-ish Julian Ryerson and is playing left back. One sub left and they trail 2-1.

He gets a few more DNPs from the bench and he might challenge for the Chandler Award this season.

    Edit: Nevermind. Move this thread.

Completed 1 pass and had a successful dribble, however that's defined.

Also had a whiff on a half chance close to goal for his near first ever touch.
