His close control in receiving the ball and accelerating with his first and second touch is quite promising. Looks like he has good passing vision and likes to score a goal or two as well.

Nice. The vision and being able to pull off those passes was really good to see. Promising!

If Campbell breaks out with the Dortmund first team this season, then that would certainly make up for how things haven’t been going for Reyna. Although, maybe we’ll see both!

I don't think so. I think they just wanted to look at different players.

He might be the most polished American youth player I've ever seen. He's gotten so much better since I saw him when he first got to BVB.

Close ball control, long stride with a burst of speed, an eye for the pass and a classy finisher….. Hmm…. where have I seen that before at BvB? Duh, I know…. that young English fella who’s now at some famous club in Spain! :D

Ain’t saying the kid’s going to be Bellingham but man… they have a similar game. To me anyways.

That’s a good shout. Although, he reminds me more of a left-footed Reus.

Campbells development is really exciting. Can’t wait to see what he looks like at the BL level.

Going to take Gio's spot? Transfermarket lists him as a primary winger w/ CAM secondary. Would be nice to see them on the field together.

Loved this quote from the Google translation:
Bold emphasis is mine. The USMNT could use a couple of "brutally good" players, I would think.

I’m happy for him, but you couldn’t have waited until next week?
