I wonder if we've ever conceeded 9 goals in 4 days before?

Good points by the commentators re: the transfer window. If we're this bad in January, what players will we be able to get? Who will want to play for the Rs if we look this bad?

Must be quite an atmosphere at Celtic Park. Quite a rejuvenation in Scottish football this season.

2133: A fan comes on the pitch at Celtic Park and gives Dida a little tap as he runs through the AC Milan box. The Brazilian keeper starts to chase him before falling to ground in dramatic fashion.

Liverpool lose at home to Marseille. Things not looky so rosey at Anfield all of the sudden.

    22 Norwich 9 -5 8
    23 Sheff Wed 9 -9 6
    24 QPR 8 -13 3

We're 5 points (plus a massive goal difference deficit) from safety. So, essentially, we're 6 points adrift of safety at the moment.

We NEEEEED three points at home on Monday.

After that, there's an international break the next weekend. It would do our boys a world of good to go into that break with a win.

Good thinking. Glad I'll be able to stumble home.

    2138: FULL-TIME Celtic 2-1 AC Milan
Absolutely wonderful... but will that fan's late actions come back to haunt Celtic? Denmark lost points in Euro qualifying for something similar and Dida was at the heart of that firecracker incident against Inter Milan a few years back when Uefa threw the book at Inter.

2135: Dida has made a right meal of that tap from a pretty soft looking Glaswegian. He's being stretchered off! No fan should come on a pitch, but no professional footballer should feign injury like that.

    The silver lining for Monday:

Norwich has 8 points from 9 games. They haven't scored a goal in their last four league matches... five matches straight if you count a League Cup loss to Man City.

And in nine league games, they've only scored five total goals, having scored more than one goal only one time (2-1 home win against Southampton).

Of course, they have Cureton, so he could come back to bite us. However, they have 1 draw and 3 losses away from home with 1 scored and 6 against.

So, if our defense (and our team overall) is going to "get well" against anyone, it may be them.

    Please let it be so.

particularly when your team is down a goal with just a few minutes left, which you use up with your antics.

Bizarre and really poor. That Celtic fan should be banned for life but Dida should face something too for unsportsmanlike behavior.

Looks like the QPR defense could use an upgrade or three. That, or they were just upset that not only was I not in my office to watch your pbp on bigsoccer for the second half, but I ended up on a phone call before I left and never even watched your first half posts.

Oh well, there is always saturday and another 3 points to be had.

Don't forget that we play on Monday afternoon (on TV on Setanta), not Saturday, this "weekend"!

Hmm, I might just find a reason to leave work early monday:D

That is actually better for my schedule. Saturday I take our 2 year old son to his first football game. Down to Cedar Rapids, IA for a div. III college matchup. U of Dubuque vs. Coe College.

    Have fun!

And sneak out on Monday if you can... Kevin & I will be watching at a bar, so no play-by-play here! :)
