I'm guessing there are some tea cups flying off the walls in the changing room at the moment. If not, there had better be.
Was just looking at this earlier today - I like it a lot. Craven Cottage is a really neat place to see a football match. To me, this sends the message that al Fayed is committed to staying at the ground for awhile. And as it relates to the Rs, might not be interested in going in on a new ground with us. If it's financially viable to keep both clubs in separate grounds, I think it's for the best. Would be a shame to lose grounds like the Cottage, with so much character and a historically listed main stand. Sounds like the new plans will add to the seating as well as the look and feel of the ground.
We're underway. Good point. This kind of spending at the Cottage makes it seem unlikely we'll be doing a joint-new-stadium thing anything in the near future. Comments from Briatore and Ecclestone seem to point toward Loftus Road redevelopment, too, so that's good.
Ainsworth wins a free kick on the edge of the area at the start of the half. Rowlands and Barker are there. Barker takes. Weak cross/shot was taken by the keeper.
Rowlands to Ainsworth to Vine! Rowlands and Ainsworth have both been very active in the second half. Way to step up, fellows!
Yates puts one just wide for the Us. The only way we can defend is to keep the ball on our side of the pitch! Shit
Free header again for Colchester. Went across the box. Next header couldn't be directed toward goal. And AC Milan has drawn level with Celtic.
Flag was up although Colchester put the ball in the back of the net. Cullip was laughing at the Colchester protestations, so it must have been pretty clear. Sahar has come on; Jarrett came off.
