http://beta.mlsnet.com/MLS/dab/load.jsp?section=fans&content=fan_guide maybe i'm being paranoid, but... this pretty much excludes everything we do, doesn't it?
Let's hope justice prevails, and the brains of HSG can understand why a 36 inch flagpole is too damn small for the Inferno
I've said it before. If HSG can't put more than 5,000 butts in the seats at their shiny new stadium then what they will hear each week for 90 minutes is ME. Loud and clear. All the way up to the luxury suites. Silence Sweeper33! Buy season tickets now!
Sweeper can never be silenced, sweeper you were one of the main reasons i joined the inferno after seeing you at one of the games early in the year I knew i had to join
Did someone get confirmation from GE that anyone sitting in/near the same section of the Inferno would be forwarned of possible "rowdy/passionate behavior"?
We also requested that this be mentioned in ticketbastard, signs on entering the section, etc etc etc. The consistent message we have received from GE et al is that they will do everything in that regard & that it is in their best interests anyway. We shall see.
Yes, but will more Europeans go topless at beaches if everyone at FC Dallas games are properly non-rowdy? Screw it; I'm streaking across the field on opening day!
Considering the Real Madrid ownership kowtows to a band of neo-Nazis just to maintain any noise whatsoever in the tomb of the Bernabeu, you'd think a few good-natured FC Dallas supporters who've had a few and like to taunt Kevin Hartmann would be cut some slack.
Thanks, we may do that. I'm just spoiled -- I like being hollering distance from our players' bench. And the library side really needs some livening up, so we do our best to represent for the Inferno.
This same issue came up for the HDC, and as TA said, it was cya-material. I assume that since the original post didn't say anything about it, that there were no references to barring drums, noisemakers, confetti and the like? That should be good news.
We all agree they are covering 'em up in advance. Particularly after whats happened at the NBA game the other week. The Behavior Policy said the following were prohibited and cause for ejection: "Engaging in rowdy, profane, abusive, inconsiderate, drunken, or other inappropriate behavior Fighting Throwing of any object that is may considered dangerous to others Causing property damage of any sort Not abiding by the guidelines of proper conduct" But they have left "the guidelines of proper conduct" undefined and therefore open to the situational interpretation. "Throwing of any object that is may considered dangerous to others" Now confetti could not be considered dangerous to others, I don't think. So as long as we don't throw drums or noisemakers, I think we're safe.
