Seven episodes into season two. I'm still mostly enjoying it but some of the charm of the first season is gone and they are definitely now milking it to the point of it becoming formulaic. Also don't think we need the humanization of John Kreese. Rehabilitating Johnny Lawrence was the master stroke of the original season. This feels like them trying to repeat that but with a character that is far harder to rehabilitate (even partially). I think I am now enjoying the secondary characters the most. Don't think anyone made me laugh as often as Demetri in season three (so far).
Done with season three. It definitely got way over the top by the end. I kind of think that season four should probably be the last one. It would probably get entirely too outrageous if they had to write plot beyond that (pretty clear season four will be about the build-up to the All Valley tournament).
