Any chance the Rapids will go after Franky Yallop now that Canada has been completely embarrassed in front of the world?
I'm sure there is a chance. I'd like it if he were on the short list but there is no way for us to know.
The assumption is that both Soccer Canada and Yallop knew going in that theirs was a long-term project, at least through qualifying for 2010. I would be really surprised to see Frank's name come up for the Rapids.
While Yallop would be a nice catch, I would have to agree. I doubt he'll be heading south again until Canada fails to qualify again sometime in 2008 or 2009.
