1-0 Guinea off a PK. An Egypt player committed a foul at the corner of the box.

Not sure as my focus was more on the other important match right now. But the entire Egypt team was surrounding the ref. My stream has gone out and I'll look again for the 2nd half. I don't know how reliable of a source it is, but the Ahram matchtracker makes it sound like Egypt is dominating. Still 1-0.

I was also preoccupied with a certain other match but from what I did see the Guinean keeper made some excellent saves. Think a draw on the road would be a good result for Egypt here heading into the 2nd half.

Aboutrika makes it 1-1 with a header. Actually, not a header (poor stream lol).

Red card to Guinea..was that on the Guinean keeper? If so extremely weak red cad & it would be a penalty for Egypt

Wow, Guinea keeper red card. It was like if Howard karate kicked Marquez in 09, instead of the other way around.

    PK to Egypt.

Egypt leads as they finish off the PK. Didn't look that soft of a penalty to me. Guinea then win a corner and what looks like a header is cleared off the goal line. 2-1 Egypt in approximately the 70th minute. Egypt trying to settle the game down now.

great this would be a huge, huge win if Egypt take it... Zimbabwe & Mozambique drew the other match so Egypt will sit pretty at the top of the table should this result hold... would love, love to see USA v Egypt in the world cup in 2014

Good individual play by #19 for Guinea, who plays in La Liga.
