Cub or country for Celtic and Rangers players...

Czech Rep - Scotland June 08 friendly

Rangers call offs - Thomson, Whittaker, Boyd
    Celtic call offs - no-one

Scotland - Croatia friendly March 08

Rangers call offs - Ferguson, Dailly, McGregor, McCulloch
    Celtic call offs - Robson

of the 5 'old firm' players that didn't take part the only celtic player was barry robson, who, and this is the important part, was sent home by SFA doctors.

robson said he was fit to play and was gutted to be sent away. Strachan said the next day that Robson was perfectly fit and had no idea why he was sent home by the SFA doctor.

    Macedonia - Scotland qualifier

Rangers call offs - Weir, Thomson
    Celtic call offs - no-one

    Iceland - Scotland qualifier

Lee McCulloch comes out and says he won't play for Scotland again with Burley in charge.

    Scotland - Norway qualifier

Rangers call offs - Miller, Thomson
    Celtic call offs - no-one

in addition Kris Boyd states after the match that he has withdrawn his services to his country until after Burley has gone as manager.

They are OK. I like Mathare Youth. A young proffesional team for a good cause. Altough we are last in the league :( But country comes first.

    It goes something like this,

    Kenya NT (Harambee Stars)
    MYSA
    Leeds.

Haha, I just realised all my teams suck. :( Although Kenya is getting better. :)

I don't live in Kenya currently. I go to school in the states.

What's it like to live in Kenya? Honestly, it's not that different than living in the States. I do all the same things here that I did in Kenya. I woke up, went to school, watch tv, play a little football, then go to bed. Keep in mind this is just my experience of living in Kenya. Many Kenyans would agree with me, many would say that living in Kenya is better, and many would say it is a nightmare! It just depends on who you talk to.

Country, by far. Then club. But I have really never been attached to a club, as there isnt one in my area. And I havent been able to emotionally attach myself to a club, I just havent found one.

COUNTRY, but not technically my country. i dont know if i can seperate ireland and russia, but i'd probably go for ireland if they play in a match, for example in 2004 I was hoping Ireland would win.

club, well i support bohs in ireland but it really is hard to get to see them play. some streams every so often, and internet highlights but nothing more than that. i would love to be able to go every week to their matches, and maby someday when i move i will be able.:)

Gotta be country. How can you be so loyal to clubs anymore that are bought and sold by this week's newest billionaire and then turned into showcases for the biggest stars out there? The traditions of the clubs are disappearing for the sake of big business and big marketing. There's still something pure about national teams (though the recent trend of players emigrating from top soccer nations to weaker ones is a bit disturbing and hopefully will be curbed soon).

I think this is a pretty hard question. You have a duty to play for your club since you would have signed a contract, but then again...Playing for your country is pretty much the highest honor in football. So I think I would take country, i'm sure the manager would understand, and its not like you would miss every match or anything like that.

    But thats just me.
