The clubs direction has been all over the place. We constantly sell our players and replace them with fresh faces. But we since we've been doing this trend for many years, the consistency is never the same. I just want to achieve more titles domestically and challenge internationally. Is that too much to ask? :(

Pretty sure they lost a few players. Worst is they lose them on loan or free.

I really try to root for cali but they don’t have a serious strategy. It’s basically dump everyone to anywhere. It’s suppose to be a big team they can’t be doing that shit

Cali is a team that played way above expectations last season. Not surprised by the collapse.

Last night game was rough. We played atletico madrid tactics and almost got away from if it wasn't our center defender heading the ball in our own goal.

From Cali side, I am enjoying the RB and LB on this team.

LB Cristian Malfla: Fast pacy, and good dribble (needs to work on decision making on the final third) But he's also 29 kind of at his prime already

RB Aldair Gutierrez: Fast, pacy, and strong, and has a very good long throw in (also needs to work on decision making but a good prospect) Nickname el vallenato. Only 23 years old.

Cali biggest weaknest is the attacking front, no body can score a freaking goal even when it's easy.

Well valiant effort tonight with Cali losing to boca juniors at bombanera

the team lacks that killing striker and midfielder possession.

next move is sudamericana after being knocked from libertadores group tonight. The young kid lucumi has a bright future. Reminds me of duvan zapata with his massive size

Saw the game yesterday with some Cali friends..

Cali didn'tt really propose anything in the game, it just tried to not get scored (and what an awful goal it was at the end), and even after the goal I didn't see too much effort from Cali players.. I would have liked to have seen more spirit from them.

The team lacks organizing.. Everyone wants to run around and counter attack with Teo Gutierrez trying to look like he knows what he is doing. But Teo looks like he's hungover every game.

I'm not a fan, but it's sad to see what happened in Cali. The players are striking for not getting paid and today they team will play their last match with the sub-20 squad.

Usually, at least historically they are good at making income, but something happened where Cali starting paying ridiculous prices for Luis Pinto, and some of the players that are still in the squad. Laughingly bad money moves the last 2 years now. This happened we won the last title, and I knew it was a bad sign that we still had Teo Gutierrez jogging around and Burdisso defending the backline.

Also the Cantera model, is lacking they are selling players at a faster rate than bring up from the academy. To add further, the recently academy players are not so good. Like Yerry Mina's brother?! Trash

Overall, it's time to settle and make paycuts and get rid of dead weight. Kevin Velasco has to go too, although I do think he's a good player just lacks finishing.

I'm connecting with a scout from one of Israel's top teams and he usually consults with me regarding Colombian players. This is how they brought Jonathan Agudelo two years ago and Danilo Asprilla a year ago.
Yesterday he asked me about Velasco and I totally recommended. They loved him and spoke with him and there's a good chance that he'll leave. His contract until Dec. 2023 so he may leave for free,

Luis pinto is out, due to the finance problem with Cali. Santos borre sent him a message to not leave but it didn’t work.

personally I’m glad he’s gone and I’m hoping we don’t get relegated this coming season. Tough times ahead

    Cali signed Haquin

Luis Haquin partió rumbo a Colombia | El Deber

I liked this signing actually; I've seen this guy play during the eliminatorias and he quite smart and he's 6'3.

That with the new kid we just signed Juan Castilla, I'm hoping for a decent mid table run at best.

Rumor's are speculating that we will bring Teo back which I'm not a fan of.
