From what it sounds like, a deal has to be done soon or else Pallotta will be out another 40 million. And the vetting process apparently can take several months for something like this, which Friedkin has already gone through. If another group tried to jump in, Pallotta would have to start all over for them, which it doesn't sound like he can time-wise.
Yes, Pallotta (or whoever the majority shareholder at the time is) will be required to inject 40 million before the end of the year. My point is, a Kuwaiti oil company/sovereign fund/etc is not purchasing us, or any other football club, for some business model around the sport. It's a geopolitical investment for them. Haggling over millions here vs millions there is a waste of time since the main point is a projection of economic power/an in with European/Italian politics. That's not to say there aren't any due diligence considerations for them, but it's not the same as a price conscious buyer (a la Friedkin), where the economics of the club itself are paramount. Which is why, if this really is a serious bidder of the type being rumored, and they TRULY want us, they'll make it happen. Buying this club is pennies on the dollar for them.
Friedkin vicinissimo alla Roma https://t.co/RsVimgqAls— MilanoFinanza (@MilanoFinanza) August 4, 2020 Roma, summit tra Pallotta e Friedkin: cessione più vicina https://t.co/76YX9SjG69 pic.twitter.com/7MpLYijPXX— Calcio e Finanza (@CalcioFinanza) August 4, 2020 Pallotta is only getting 190M for his equity, that is why he’s butthurt about selling. He will take more than a 100M loss on his investment. 300M is the amount of debt Dan is taking on. Its not clear if he is going to pay it off or not, hopefully he will. 90M will be injected in the club with the hope of keeping the best players.
Very simply where we are: the next 48 hours are the most decisive since March for sale of #Roma Right now - the various law firms involved in the deal all believe #Friedkin has the advantage, a strong one @ASRomaPress l— John Solano (@Solano_56) August 4, 2020

Pallotta or Friedkin makes no difference to me because Roma is Roma. That lovable, Europa league contending club with fanatical Ultras with unrealistic expectations and delusions of grandeur.
Hooray for nepotism. Can you post some more pics of the guy with his pilot suit on? Those were all the rage for you last fall so you'll have to go back a bit but I trust you still have them readily accessible in your spank bank.
You must be sad your American Hero™Pallotta is selling the club. How sad! Don't get it twisted, the club decisions are made by Dan.
Surprised he is committing to buying the club during this Covid pandemic. The price may have come down though so it may be a good move on his part....
When have I ever claimed Pallotta was my hero? I did meet him once at Disney. He seemed alright. Anyway if you're going to continue lisping in my direction at least come with something meaningful and stop wasting everyone's time.
Formal documents signed an hour ago by #Friedkin, now it is up to #Pallotta, who could decide to wait on the group of Kuwait @ASRomaPress— John Solano (@Solano_56) August 4, 2020 Cuck off
Idk. The Kuwait people asked for the financial statements from Roma to review about a week ago I believe. Unless they say fcuk it they are taking a risk idk how they can just put up 600m because the it takes more than a week to do the due dilegence. Friedkin says after there is an agreement it’ll take between 45-60 days to finalize so Pallotta has until the end of August at the latest to accept someone’s bid. But apparently him and his shareholders have set August 10 as the final day to submit an offer.
Yes, I do. I don't believe that Friedkin makes a legally binding offer after the lengthy negotiations without already securing Pallotta's agreement to complete the transcation. Also, the lack of a new DS being appointed to replace Petrachi - which will be the new owner's principal appointment given that Fonseca is virtually assured of staying - is an indication that new ownership is close.

Even with 2020 bs, it would have been much less of a lose if he didnt run the club like shit over the past few years. Jimmy wont acknowledge that though. Reap what you sow.
