Boca spurns PSV offer for Tevez

Boca Juniors has rejected a multimillion-euro offer from PSV Eindhoven for striker Carlos Tevez, Boca's president said Sunday.

The 20-year-old Tevez, who starred for Argentina in the Olympics, has drawn the interest of several top European clubs and saw his transfer value climb after finishing the competition in Athens as the top scorer with eight goals.

Boca Buying A Club in MLS?

There's plenty of rumors and stories and in the MLS (USA) section about clubs buying into Major League Soccer - Particularly after Chivas of Mexico was allowed to buy into MLS to establish a second team in Los Angeles

(I sorta have mixed feelings about all this - But I'm leaning slightly against it - But too much to discuss here)

Is there any truth to the stories about Boca doing this? - Or any other team from Argentina? - I sorta doubt it - The economics just don't make sense - MLS is losing money - (Less than before, but still losing) - And won't break even financially for a few more years - Other than establishing a marketing presence in the US, why would Boca (or any other team from Argentina) want to spend millions of dollars away from their established fan base and not get the money back for several years?
