I just cant believe the guy would say that.... granted, its true that they make a lot more money and nothing wrong with saying that they came to better their pocket books... but to say the level is not there.... thats kind of disrespecting Botero and Castillo (and both of them suck donkeyballs here in Mexico) HE is not a smart player. Which promotor in thier right mind would set up a deal with that player knowing he has said that.. A real fan favorite.. well.. he is entitled to his opinion. we already have advanced.. they still havent...
I think this shows something else. This shows that south americans hate mexico/the mexican league for some reason. South Americans are jealous of the wages and the good economy in the league and how they are making Copa Libertadores seem easy. South Americans feel threatened by Mexico. what he said about going to Mexico for the money and not for the level also shows another sad truth. Many south americans go to Mexico to steal money (many argies for example) and don't put the same amount of effort as they would in Argentina for example.
Match is on FSW Español tonight at 7:30 PDT. Maybe I've just missed too many games in this Copa, but the Mexican teams seem to be more than holding their own. Their first-place standings would be evidence of this. Perhaps this is more the reason for the jealousy. Jealousy. Which will, no doubt, be rewarded with a boot to the face esta noche...

I'm not really in a position to say why South Americans like or dislike Mexico/Mexicans/or the MFL. Most South Americans I have met in Mexico either are there to stay for good or vacationing. They love Mexico because in certain aspects it is like home and the language barrier is not there (not all that much) and the ones vacationing.. well.. you dont go to places to relax if you dont like the country. Everyone has had thier own experiences. But, most of the south americans that do not like Mexico/Mexicans/MFL are the ones who reside in the US. I have come across some that do feel resesntment towards either three for the reasons you have stated. Any foreigner who thinks they can go to the MFL and lolly gag is certainly mistaken. Just ask Calderon, Riverola, to name a few. THis player obviously does not know how to handle the press. Why would he insult the level of play in the MFL? Especially when Mexican clubs have an advantage on Bolivian clubs? Do you think that guy would be a fan favorite in America, Cruz Azul if he were to be signed. Hell No!! I hate mercs. I dont care if they make money, good for them, but a little respect towards the jersey and country would certainly help him to adapt and even make some friends. Just look at Chicho Serna... that guy can rot in hell
I wish, but I'm only going to be able to catch the first half-hour or so. Plus, hearing guys' names I don't recognize in a language I don't understand is not condusive to good PBP...
