Hmm, nothing got triggered from our monitors. I'll see if the logs reveal anything. And if it happens again let me know.
It's also noteworthy that the issue only occurs in periods of 5-30 minutes during which the site is completely unusable. Afterwards it will work just fine.
This is happening pretty regularly for me through the Amsterdam CloudFlare POP (I'm in the Netherlands) when I'm on my home network (i.e. not VPN'd through somewhere else.) I notice the other complaints here are also from users in Europe. Maybe a network transit issue between EU CloudFlare POPs and wherever your origin is hosted? Or just congestion in the POP itself. (CloudFlare talks a good game but they have scaling issues.)
Just happened to me. Coincided with the argentine goal, maybe argentines need to be banned from the site.
Case in point: the very next thread I tried to access generated this, with a reload generating the page I was looking for:
@Huss @JonnyQuest @dark knight Multiple Error 502 Bad Gateway Website is offline errors starting at about the 44 min of the Brasil v. Germany match. Please resolve post haste. edit - received on both desktop and mobile.
I'm digging into it. Servers are all fine, so at the moment I'm unsure why cloudflare would be having issues with connecting.
Appears our side is fine, and that Error 502 is an issue with Cloudflare's network. They're usually on these almost right away, and shouldn't last more than 10 minutes while they reroute things. And should only affect people on that node as well. Though, if you're getting it consistently *every* day, then let me know and I'll start a ticket with them to see what can be done.
Must have been a node issue across the pond... servers have all been fine here. We're currently investigating alternative CDNs, if Cloudflare keeps having issues like this.
The last 10 days or so everything was fine and now it is happening again. €: Ray ID: 14a7365064f20f7b
