Field had a few weird bumps tonight, but what a venue. I'm always fired up to watch a telecast from your stadium. So happy for you guys.

I wouldn't be surprised if tickets are at least $75 + (only plus, is that this game is on Sept. 3, which will be a school night. ) I think read that Ticketmaster is running this one, and not Seatgeek. "An exclusive presale for season ticket members begins Friday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28. Members of The Preserve will also receive a presale opportunity beginning Friday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Sunday. Minnesota United newsletter subscribers’ presale begins Monday, July 29. To get access to presales for this game, join The Preserve — the official Allianz Field waiting list — or sign up for our newsletter. For more information, visit mnufc.com." So, expect that email with the presale code soon
So...I got that email. Holy jumping catfish. The cheapest seats available... $123. Section 108. It'll still be warm and toasty on 9/3. $123. That's more than the Gold Cup cost, and we got a doubleheader on that one. $123. For a friendly. Against Portugal. Who didn't even make the WWC. Hard pass on this one. Sorry ladies. I'll watch from the comfort of my BarcaLounger 2020 Deluxe.
yeah...got the code yesterday...and I think I paid 70-80 per ticket. I really think all national games are outrageous with the prices.
https://theathletic.com/1251785/201...eld-advantage-thats-better-than-they-thought/ (paywall) Given the fact that we have a three-week window between this game and that weekend, when two very important games could be played inside of our stadium, we will start to prepare for sod replacement. (Monday), we will start to replace the field for the October 19/20th weekend. ----- “Probably around about the Aston Villa game (on July 17), we started to notice some pooling in different areas of our field,” Wright said. “We knew that we had an issue that we needed to address in some way, shape or form. Our grounds crew went down into our draining system with cameras and found that there were a couple of blockages inside of the drainage system. When there was an awful lot of precipitation in some way, shape or form, we found that there was backup. That was emanating into water going up and out of the system rather than through the system into the big bath that we have underneath the great lawn (outside and to the north of the stadium). *face palm
The grass at @allianzfield is halfway gone already, less than 18 hours after #MNUFC played their final regular season #MLS match last night. Should have rest of the grass removed and new grass installed in the next 24-48 hours. pic.twitter.com/am9rIGZMrD— Jamie Watson (@jamiewatson77) September 30, 2019

FYI: @MNUFC season-ticket renewal is 94% for @allianzfield in 2020. Team increased its base from 14,500 to 15,000 -- expected sold by closing time today -- to accommodate about 980 people from the nearly 6500 Preserve wait-list members.— Jerry Zgoda (@JerryZgoda) October 31, 2019

USSF has now announced the venues for 3 of the USMNT's 7 home qualifiers, with a 4th reported but not yet official:9/5 vs. CAN: Nashville10/7 vs. JAM: Austin10/13 vs. CRC: Columbus, per reports11/12 vs. MEX: Cincinnati1/27 vs. SLV: TBD2/2 vs. HON: TBD3/27 vs. PAN: TBD— Sam Stejskal (@samstejskal) July 28, 2021 I am not sure we are getting a qualifier this cycle. Would have liked Costa Rica, but that looks like it is going to Columbus. Panama would be the only other logical choice, but that match is sandwiched in between two away games (Mexico and Costa Rica). The other dates would be a bit insane to have here.
Confirmation: @SoccerInsider backs up my reporting Allianz Field is up for #USMNT World Cup qualifier in 2022, but it's for Jan. 27/Feb. 2 -- not March 27.Context: My nearly 40-year understanding of Minnesota weather in dead of winter had me pointing more toward spring date.— Andy Greder (@andygreder) November 19, 2021
It’s going to be …Jan 27: El Salvador in ColumbusJan 30: Canada in Hamilton, OntarioFeb 2; Honduras in St Paul— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) November 24, 2021 (Still waiting for other confirmation)
