Half an hour late ... I was promised a 10:53 balloon drop pic.twitter.com/f2DjATqwgu— Pablo Iglesias Maurer (@MLSist) July 22, 2016 And counting.
That "and I'm not sure I totally deserve it" ad lib was the most genuine thing I think I've ever heard Trump say.
I think this was a disaster for Trump's chances. Any chance that speech will substantially broaden Trump's appeal with women, college educated whites, young voters?— Greg Sargent (@GregTSargent) July 22, 2016 He did nothing to help him. The best thing he did for himself was go so long that maybe nobody watched the whole thing.
I don't. If I did, I'd have issues with every human being who ever declared him or herself a candidate. Besides, she did represent the state for the time she was a Senator. So, she gave it more thought than the guys who woke up one morning and decided they wanted to be POTUS... I dont understand why you see that level of deliberation and preparation as a negative, but everybody's got one. I'll take your word. Well, you saw one more "egregious" but well-concealed example, then. Just one more post... what persona do you think HRC should adopt that would lead to a successful presidential election?
All partisanship aside, that was a horrible speech in both content and delivery. Perhaps the most negative I have ever heard since I have been watching conventions.
I don't think she's got one. If she's going to be successful come November I think it will be more of a case of Drumpf being a total asshat then her being a great campaigner or her enunciating a great policy vision for America. I fear her presidency is going to be dead on arrival. I know several Republicans who were kind of embarrassed and sheepish when McConnell claimed that the most important thing for Republicans to do was to ensure that Obama's was a single-term presidency. Most will not be so embarrassed about declaring that Hillary needs to be a one-term president.
I watched zero minutes of the convention. Anyone care to give me the rundown of the good, the bad, and the ugliest speeches so I know what is worth going back and taking a look at?
