Not a bad way to start the season getting a point at Nemesio Díez, although this Toluca is not as strong as the ones from the past seasons. What a terrible game from Sinha, spent most of the time whining or on the floor. He looked physically not fit, this Sinha I do not want near El Tri. Moving on to Pumas, playing with 5 in the back didn't really suit us we looked very disorganized in the first half. Pumas should stick with 4 in the back playing 4-3-3 formation that brought us much success at the end of the season. I think most saw the first goal coming, Toluca had 3-4 shots outside the box before they scored the goal. Pumas goal came from a bit of luck I would say but props for the team for actually going after the tie and win the last 20-15 minutes of the game. Could have been 3 points for Pumas but Bravo had a TERRIBLE miss...NO Refuerzos...F-That We need a quality striker, Mahbub needs to spend some of those Euros Pumas received last summer and than we can continue with the program. Pikolin 2- Average, makes me nervous, waiting on his first blunder this season Rojas - Not ready to be a starter, looked good in the CCL but hasn't showed much in the league Leandro - looked in better shape then in past seasons...
Agreed what a game. Apart from any tactical errors or what not, it was an awesome game. Cacho 4 goals in 3 games.
It's good to see Cacho doing well. I was working, so I could not watch the game and quit checking when I saw it was 2-0. Normally, that would have been all she wrote, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the final result. Cacho's goals were terrific, and I expect he'll be on Chepo's list on Friday. 5 points after 3 games is a decent start. A win over Monterrey would be absolutely huge as we get through the toughest part of the schedule undefeated.
Cortes has been playing really well. It would be a tragedy if he's not part of the copa america squad as hes one of the few U23 players getting consistent playing time I just would like to see him play further up .. Nice to see Erick Vera get a cap Hail Memo Vasquez Jr!!
Pumas is good team that is doing things the right way. They may not win the title, but it is obvious that the team is playing much better than they did last season. The reason: continuity. They don't overhaul the roster at the beginning of every season. They don't make hasty signings to fill gaps in the roster. It was hard to lose Efra and Barrera, but they let the youngsters fight it out amongst themselves. Now we are starting to see the benefits. Sure, we lost Tuca, but Tigres dropped a dumptruck full of money on his driveway, which we all know Pumas would never match. I am excited about this Clausura season, especially since we just blasted through the toughest part of the schedule.

As a pumas fan, nothing makes me happier than a youngster scoring a game winner. This team is going places.
Mosco this. I am very happy the cantera is showing up, and getting it done. edit: I'm wearing my Sunday whites all day, yeah, I feel good..

i may not be a Puma so i'm not too familiar with their prospect, but Cortez has been looking very promising from what i've seen love to hear what Puma fans think of him
