With both teams desperate for a win, this game should be an interesting one. Both teams have failed to play cohesively and convincingly so far, and are yet to show their full potential. Aguante PUMAS!

    ******** ******** ******** ********

We started much better, they looked very nervous and misplaced loads of passes, we hustled well, and were able to hold onto the ball.

Slowly this changed, and a nice touch from Cabañas and a nice finish from Nuñez saw them go one up on 34 mins. this clearly settled them, and a few minutes later on a breakaway Nuñez put a good cross on a lonely looking Cabañas, and with that service and that much time he doesn't miss.

2-0 at half, and Pumas possesion counts for nowt, we have no lethal edge up front, and are prone to the odd disastrous defensive lapse, two in this occasion, very very frustrating, where are these horrible defensive ********-ups coming from?

Scocco had 3 decent shots, with a bit of time - all of them straight at Ochoa - the last the worse he had time and space to move forward and pick his spot. Barrera has decision-making problems and Solari CAN'T PLAY FOOTBALL....

    shit. No way back.

Pumas is last place and the worst team of the tournament so far. Scocco and Solari have been total shit this season. Total shit. Barrera sucked today and he was given a hard time but it should be known that at least he played well last week while these two haven't done jack shit all season. It amazing that we don't even have a title but have "subcampeonitis". Solari should realize that all those interviews he did, don't mean squat and he has to at least appear as pasable as he was. He may have always been a tronco but this is insane. The defense is also total crap. Velarde is another campeonitis guy, who hasn't done squat this season and I think the olympic team callup got into his head. Leandro has also has a lousy play and his rumored call up to the NT, has also distracted him. I hope he doesn't have much plan because he shouldn't get a call up based on his play so far. And the worst has to be Tuca. He should also stop with all his bullshit declarations and stop acting like the press darling because of what he says. Of course the press eats it up but the directiva is right. The team is as bad as it has ever been during him. He should forget the liguilla and the whole "tuca can do no wrong because he gives us headlines" thing with the press and get to work.

The team has totally stunk. Today's 2nd half was an embarrassment. 2-0 down to America and they played like they were winning 7-1. No heart, no good play and total shit. It was a lot worse than with Atlante. America was crap and yet they totally dominated us. Pathetic.

As if losing to america wasn't bad enough, the guys played so complacently. Almost passive. None of the guys seemed to have the hunger needed to win this type of game.

I started watching the game around the 30th min. score 0-0. Ten min. later the score is 2-0. I then switch the channel and start watching the Super Bowl.:p
I agree with you guys that the team has not been playing with no heart. Atlante won the title we didn't. They need to get their feet back on the ground and start playing with hunger.

I agree with that, I was thinking that it was the earliest case of "campeonitis" ever, because it actually kicked in during the final and cost us the championship...

Really ********ing poor yesterday. Nothing, no garra, no ideas, nothing... and America were there for the taking, they really were...
