I note that I and a few Rev fans have been able to post and have good discussions about our upcoming big match up. I just wanted to note the difference from the Metro fans where everything before the big game last week turned ugly on these boards. Great team, great fans. May the best team (us) win. Seriously, you have a classy bunch.
Great Fans I completley agree. I have had conversations with and personal messages from the Revs fans. I truly believe that the Fire Fans and the Revs fans are dedicated to not only their teams, but the MLS, and the game of soccer. I hope that both teams had to opportunity to advance, but that's not possible. I know this will be a great series. I wish the best to both teams and their fans. Bethany

I can't & won't speak for all Fire fans but know that we've had good relations in the past (including Ultras) culminating with great get togethers when a few Revs fans were in the "GO" a few years back and during my visit to Foxboro. You guys looked out for us during my visit and it's always been appreciated and never forgotten. We also did the same during the visit a few years before for you guys. Revs are my second team in this league. Hopefully, this play-off series will be a great one and of course hopefully the Fire will win it. ;O) Cheers and Good luck, Fonsos

I guess they've crapped in everyone's front yard. I visit their board because it's worth a lot of laughs. Having a crap side is only part of it. There are some genuinely funny people there. You take the good with the bad.
I first had a chance to meet any number of Fire supporters back at MLS Cup '98 when a good number made the trek to Pasadena. It was there I first met Don Crafts and a bunch of others from both the Barnburners & Arsonists, eventually finding opportunities to meet and talk with Peter Wilt and others over the past few years. I have nothing but respect and a good bit of envy with respect to the Fire fans. For one thing you have a g.m. who appreciates and responds to your efforts, and you have a group dynamic that's decidedly organic, but works well as a group to create atmosphere unlike any in MLS. It's good seeing your efforts in away trips to Columbus, Dallas, even New England earlier this year. But more than anything, your fans have a keen sense of the game, your rhetoric isn't nearly as antagonistic and posture-driven as Metro or others, and it's refreshing to see fans who want good, intelligent debate even if it does get heated. Quite simply, if I had to be a member of any group of supporters outside the Revs it would be the Fire's by a mile. The Magpie
Just to pass on some of this Karma, I've found the River Ratz to be quite a likeable group of people as well.
It sure is nice to see 2 supporting groups getting along. There's nothing wrong with rivalries, but sometimes it gets out of hand. We, as fans, have to remember that this is a small league and all the teams need as much support as possible. Just look at Miami and Tampa (RIP) I'm not saying this was right, but it happened and it cannot be allowed to occur again. For example, I'm not a Burn fan (for obvious reasons) but if they were trying to get a staduim, I would support. So for now, let's just try to always remember why we support not only induvidual teams, but this wonderful league as well. ps- I have to see what all this fuss is about the Metro fans..........
Ugh. As far as US club soccer goes, I'm a Fire supporter. That's where it ends. other people may not feel that way, but that's it.

Fire fans I'm a Revs season ticket holder and I sat with some Fire fans for both playoff matches here. They were some of the classiest, most knowledgeable fans I've sat with. It's a pleasure sharing a match with folks like that.
