Classic Madrid matches

Moro's five goal performance against Las Palmas was a nice memory.

 

Though it should have been 6.

 

I'll add a RM 4-0 Mérida (remember them?).

It was the home closer in one of Madrid's worst seasons in 20 years (we didn't even make the UEFA Cup spots).

The reason I rank it is because it was the last home game for Michael Laudrup and, above all, for Michel, who scored a PK and a tremendous volley towards the end of the game. Two of my all-time favourite players.

The win against Manchester Utd in the 2000 UCL stands out for me. They went there as underdogs and put in a spectacular performance, front to back. Really put them back on track as European greats.
