Stuttgart missed also missed a PK, and Besiktas were a man down from 50 min. on. The funniest bit was after the game as Alex Ferguson was being interviewed about what went wrong you can clearly hear Oasis' "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" being played in the stadium. Great stuff.
Having spent 3 years as a youth in Stuttgart, VfB was the first team that I developed an interest in. Their performance today was nothing short of exceptional. Kevin Kuranyi will be one of Germany's stars at WC 2006.
