One of the things that surprised me the most was how physical if not downright nasty challenges the ref allowed. How many times did he allow the greeks to hack our players down without producing a single card? It's a fvcking joke that no more than three yellows were brandished during the match. How telling to hear one of the commentators on Sky say that this would be an good introduction to the game on sunday. And before anybody starts, yes a couple of the challenges our boys made later in the match might also have been worthy of a booking. I'm just glad we got everybody back with just minor knocks. KJ
