Re: Fulltime. Woo hoo!!! Looks like the mozzarella sticks may have worked. I battled the cows today with a big Philly cheese steak.
Re: Re: Fulltime. Veal Parm/Cherry Coke= Win with flair. Double Hamburger/Mozz. Stx= Win in the George Graham fashion.
Well done! Cygan meets Mwaruwari: http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Photo/competitions/UCL/36439_600X400.jpg
Well, all our victories can't be pretty, but it's the end result that counts. Elsewhere Madrid draw 3-3 with AEK Athens. http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Photo/competitions/UCL/36446_600X400.jpg
Re: 84th min... Oleg Luzhny is the new Gilles Grimandi. (Yeah, just got out of my epic meeting. We win -woo hoo! Aw, it's just not the same as tracking it live.) Last thought - that new FSW Report in the old Sky Sports News time slot might show highlights. I know they had some Champs League stuff on last night.
Henry's hamstring tweak may keep him out of the Sunderland, but apparently we'll get Freddie Ljungberg back: he stayed on the bench due to a migraine.
I don't know who got to see it, but one - nil does not describe the dominance. Arsenal looked the better side for the majority of the game and it was only a matter of time until they scored. The second half was very lopsided and from the 80th minute on, Auxerre barely touched the ball. All of Auxerre's attacks were quick breaks and not sustained building. Arsenal had some problems with Auxerre's bunkering defense but eventually broke through. All in all a great match to watch! Another 3 points on the road! Wooohooo!
Cygan looked solid and well paired with Campbell. However, Cygan has a physical side to his game that looks a bit dangerous. Similar to the kick about with Bowyer over the weekend, Cygan dished out some physical challenges to a few of the Auxerre forwards. The referee gave him several talking to's about his physical play. I was a bit surprised that he didn't get a yellow card.
