As a minority of you know, my job situation is changing rapidly. This will probably be the last time I get to run the midweek PBP.

Please PM me if you're interested in taking up the slack, and I'll point you in the direction of the sources I've synthesized in order to come up with the commmentary.

    Lineups to follow.

Andy, can you delete the thread I started with the same title as this one? Thanks.

    Um, no comment.

OK, I didn't have time on the way back from the job fair. You're just going to have to open a new entry for McD's Double Hamburger/Mozzarella Sticks.

If we fail to get a satisfactory result I'm blaming Lozada for not sticking with the pre-game meal plan.

    McDonald's has Mozzarella Sticks??

And what's up with Freddie?? He didn't play at all on Saturday and now on the bench.

For the record, the Veal Parm was 2-0, 6 pts., 6 GF and none conceded (kind of the anti-Newcastle, if you will).

    The McD's is untested.

Yeah, Le Boss said if I'm going with the Mozzarella sticks (99 cent Value Menu), then he's just going to have to start Toure over Freddie.

    Did Gilberto play on Sat?
Looks like Touré earned him a starting spot after few good matchs.

Ian, you could have at least gotten chicken McNuggets. The mozzarela with the dipping sauce and chicken would have the vague similiarity to veal Parm. Or a hamburger is a cow and so is veal so maybe that works.

Vieira forward, leads Wiltord into the box on the right wing, but Kanu was offside.

The shot beat Cool, but Boumsong cleared it anyway.

Why Pennant and no Parlour? Is Ray injured?

Elsewhere, and I only include this to point out our mortality, AEK Athens have gone ahead of Real Madrid 1-0.

Elsewhere, Liverpool and AEK enjoy early leads.

Toure wins the ball, but tries an ambitious one from distance with Henry in the clear.

Yes to your earlier question - Gilberto played Saturday.

Yes to this question - Ray is injured. (And, shhh, don't tell anyone, he's not very good any more.)
