cheers pete no crazy about Rosenborg away late in Nov but so be it other than that I dont mind this draw at all
Schalke/Gelsenkirchen is a great place to go for those thinking about making the trip, had a blast there last summer.
lmfao at the Manks claiming their group is the toughest. After further review, its a lot tougher than I initally thought, but just llook at Group C FFS! I would have to say after futher analysis that Manure has it the worst of the English sides, followed by us, Liverpool and then Arsenal in a distant fourth
Overall I'd say the toughest groups are, in order from strongest to weakest: 1st: E 2nd: B 3rd: F 4th: G 5th: A 6th: D 7th: C 8th: H (the joke group considering that Arsenal are the favorites)
Underestimating Schalke could prove disastrous. They've got a wealth of talent just waiting to prove themselves on the European stage, and Kevin Kuranyi will be a real test for Riccy and JT.
Kuranyi will be the most dangerous player on Schalke, but after watching some of their recent matches, it doesn't look like he gets much service from the midfield. Also, Valencia started the season off very badly, losin 3-0 in the derby against Villareal at home. Going to Norway in November probably isn't on JM's wishlist.
I feel sorry, not just for our African and Brazilian warm weather players, but for anyone who would have to experience that. I hope it snows though.
