Oddo is injured and out of the game, Lahm and van Buyten are back.

    Fv€k!

PLEASE spare us the Lell-experiment, Jurgen. Play Ailtontop at RB, Lahm at LB. Or even Schweinsteiger for that matter! He has proven he can play there before.

    In that case,

    ----------------Butt------------------
    Lell ---Lucio-----Demichelis--Lahm
    ------van Bommel------Ze Roberto----
    Sosa/Altintop-----------Schweinsteiger
    ---------------Ribery-----------------

    Bench Lell.
    Drop Altintop to RB.
Leave Sosa and Schweini and Franck right where they are....

Other than that, it's perfect. ;):p

Altintop was horrendous vs Barcelona. I honestly don't remember him playing at all that game, I mean that in all seriousness bar reading his name on the team sheet. It's like picking whose the least worst of the bunch, Altintop hasn't been ready but I'm not sure if I prefer him or Lell.

Didn't see the match, but from the sounds of it, he wasn't the only one who suck against Barca.

Schweini can play there as well. Magath used him at RB and LB a few times with great success actually! I prefered him there to be honest.

Sosa has been decent even though vs crap Bundesliga teams, Altintop isn't fit yet and was the worst player with Lell vs Barcelona so no-no to him.

I only hope that you're using the term "DREAM" very loosely........especially since Rensing and DvB are both in the lineup....;)

I could find a player (Henry) having the flu to be very believable. The others sitting? I would find that insulting if it proved true.

I don't know anything about DSF, but Marca is total-BS, always just speculation based on nothing.

It would be naive from Barca to think the job is done, although it does seem pretty good. No way they bench all their best players.

But in all honesty, 4 goals isn't impossible for you guys. Two per half, that's it. Just have to get the groove on. A Barca goal would put the very final nail to the coffin though, I mean 6 goals is maybe too much.

Hope to see Barca qualify, but hope to see a great and entertaining match. Cheers.

I am hoping for a 'best case scenario' or what we call a 'miracle' here at FCBayern Forum, but in reality, Barca is likely to score in the first 5-10 minutes and put this thing away.

    LOL!

Well. If Henry is sick then why play him?

Plus, Messi's yellow was not overturned so why risk him getting another and miss the first leg of the semi final?

Add to that the fact that this tie is pretty much a foregone conclusion and it makes sense not to play them.

Again, its not like they are needed.

    Makes sense...

Would be nice to think that they might be needed....

Ummm at the end of the day, they are needed because we aren't a team like Sporting. If we score an early goal and neither Messi or Henry are on the pitch, it could prove fatal for Barcelona. If Henry is sick, I won't necessarily cry about it since we got screwed last game and Lellinho will be on his side now. Lellinho didn't have enough to get anally dismantled by Messi, he asks for more.. that would be Henry unless he's injured.

I can see why Henry wouldn't start due to flu. Messi will start if Henry doesn't though, Pep is not naive and Marca has always been known to be nothing other than full of sh#t.

Eissman, no need to be so pessimistic. We have Lahm and Lucio back, our 2 best defenders in CL this season. I don't think it will be easy for them to score like last game on us, even though they don't have much to fight for in this game.

Lahm and van Buyten are back and available to play. Oddo is out due to nagging ankle injury. Podolski rated doubtful b/c of calf injury.

Everyone else better play like it means something!
