You know the worst thing of all? AC Milan got an easy-ass group. They shouldn't even be in the CL this year.

Because the seeds were based on past CL results, and that's why Chelsea was in Pot 2 instead of Pot 1.

Not the worst draw in the world, but I'm still worried. I think
that Valencia have a good team, and our lack of a really good
    striker could be another problem.

Valencia are the favorites in the group, especially if they sign Joaquin. But with Spalletti in charge, I'm very confident that we will advance to the knockout stage and we definately won't be embarrassed like we were last time around.

That's a horrible group, and Valencia have signed Joaquin.

Seeding works on past CL history, Milan having appeared in 10 Champions league finals and have won 6 times.

Roma have appeared in 1 CL Final, and have not yet lifted a CL Trophy.

It's the same reason why Chelsea are not seeded.

I think Valencia is very tough. Olympiacos is not to be taken lightly, AT ALL.
And finally Shakthar is tough just because you never quite know what you are going to get with the weather and it will be a scrappy affair.

well, there is no easy games, but i believe with one or 2 new signings and maybe a bit of luck we have the sqaud to reach very far, not all the way but far.. i think we can beat valencia. as long as we play well and the fans don't throw coins and stuff at the referee when playing at olimpico :)

I think that if Olympiakos win them all at home, will go through to the next round.

We can win the group with our squad now. With a new striker of some potency, we will win this group.

True, all teams are balanced and quite good, and have different things going for them. But let's face it, I'd rather be us in this group than Shaktar or Olympiakos - good teams but our league is much stronger and we haven't significantly downgraded from last year.

We have avoided the monsters and have three teams in front of us that are beatable. TBH it is almost the best possible group we could have asked for, with us being in the second tier of seedings. A great run can see us into the qfs this season. It is now up to us to take advantage of it. We will have to win at least one on the road, though.

Unfortunately I'm not expecting any either.

    Notice why Montella isn't playing...again?

It was a rhetorical question. But you'd win your bet.
