Speaking about the game if we win this game we are almost classified and with many posibilities of be first in the group. The game is a sold-out and will be a great ambient in the game. I think that the Roma will give to the Real Madrid the ball and they will wait the RM fails to attack. Makelele and Cambiasso have to be very smart to not lose balls in the center of the field. RM has to be patient a touch the ball until they find a clear pass. 0-3!!!!!!!!!!!! We have started even better that the last year. And this hasn't been one of the best Real Madrid games. The Roma begin with a great pression. They dominated the first minutes but they don't make goal, then Guti make the first goal in the first RM shot to goal. Good play by Guti. After that the game changed and the RM dominated the play until the finish of the first half. In the second half. Roma dominated the first ten minutes but after that the RM begin to play very good - not at the best level - and Raul made goal with a shot in the limit of the area. Then the Roma went down and only had one team in the field - Real Madrid. The team touched without ploblems the ball and seemed that another goal could come at any time. And it comes after a great play of Guti in a shot outside the area afer left behind three Roma Defenders. Then many Roma supportes began to leave the stadium and much people whom remain began to applaud the RM play. Great Result!!! I that this game will have many consequences in Italy because is very hard that one of the biggest Italian clubs lost 0-3 in his home in a sold-out stadium in the most important competition. The RM has demostrated to the other teams that they are the current champions and that this year they aren't going to put the things easy to their rivals. In the Italian boards people didn't seem surprised at all by the result. You forgot Salgado, IMO he played very well.

I think all teams should visit the Pope. I'm not a big Real Madrid fan, but today they were dominating. Too bad about Ronaldo.
Thing is, today was the first time Guti has ever looked like a world class striker. If he can start doing that on a regular basis, then, as Tommy Smyth noted today, "Where do you start Ronaldo? Nowhere. If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
I thought Guti had a really bizarre game. Until the first goal, he was easily the worst player on the pitch and his first touch was disastrous every single time. But then the goal happened and it had class written all over it. I honestly thought that for the second goal, he didn't lay the ball of to raul but that he'd lost the ball and Raul capitalised in a superb piece of opportunism. But my that time, Guti was growing increasingly confident and that second goal was sheer class. So was he the man of the match? Yes. But based on his performance before the first goal, I'm still not convinced he's better than Mori or Porti-gol.
Your comments are spot on. I didn't know he was on the pitch until he scored the goal, then he had a great game. To be honest, you could say the same about Raul - he did absolutely nothing, but score and Guti didn't lay that off. I think Mori is great, as is Ronaldo - but I've always liked Guti.
It's easy. Guti needs space to work as a forward. If you let him think, he's an awesome player. But doesn't know well how to avoide pressure. When he scored, Roma stopped defending as they tried to score and Real played more in the roman field. And it's true that te same usually happens with Raul, who lives primarily on the rival's mistakes.
