So I am hoping and guessing that UEFA, the ECA, and EPFL will come to an agreement on an access list that looks something like this: Group Stage (32 teams: 28 qualify automatically) CL title holder EL title holder Champions (1-11) Runners up (1-6) 3rd (1-5) 4th (1-4) IF CL or EL title holder qualifies automatically, champion of 12th ranked country gains automatic place. IF CL and EL title holders qualify automatically, champions of 12th and 13the ranked countries gain automatic place. League qualifying path (4 teams: 1 qualifies for group stage) Runners up (7-9) 3rd (6) Champions qualifying path (43 teams: 3 qualify for group stage) Champions (12-55, excluding Liechtenstein) Champions (12-14) get bye to 3rd qualifying round. What do you think?
I'm not thinking that far ahead, but I hope the amount of spots from the Champions qualifying path doesn't keep going down.
