No no, I wasn't doubting. I was saying that even if the rewards were reversed, I would still prefer EL over FA Cup
We don't have a lot of fixture congestion, so I could imagine him starting the best lineup -- but I think he's going to be practical and keep some bodies warm. Would be surprised if Trossard and Vieira don't start.
Got that. Just the words you used made it sound like winning UEL wouldn’t qualify for UCL, which is what I was picking up on All good. On to Eastlands!
It's legit, but it's all (usually) within the same few counties. Currently in Young Harris to facilitate an event. But I did choose to live in this area because it's very scenic and has a lot of great hiking opportunities, picnic spots, etc.
30 Turner 18 Tomiyasu 16 Holding 6 Gabriel 3 Tierney 34 Xhaka 5 Thomas 21 Vieira 19 Trossard 7 Saka 14 Nketiah Substitutes 1 Ramsdale 4 White 35 Zinchenko 12 Saliba 15 Kiwior 23 Lokonga 8 Odegaard 27 Marquinhos 11 Martinelli
Big shoes to fill for Tierney, Vieira and Holding -- but I expect them to be up to the challenge. KILL
This lineup says a ton about how Arteta views Sambi. Where we have a viable backup, the backup is playing. Except Sambi.
Man I really don't miss some of ESPN's personnel, espec. Stevie. Craig I've always been mixed on. Dan is OK. Nedum is fine.
City's front 4 are damn formidable: Mahrez, De Bruyne, Grealish, Haaland. Oof! Pray for our back line, especially Holding & Tomiyasu who are the rustiest.
2' Holding already in a scary tussle with Haaland. PLENTY of shirt pulling by both players and for some reason the ref gave Rob the benefit of the doubt, penalizing Erling. This matchup is one to watch! And pray.
5' Tomi BLASTS a shot at Ortega. Not a trivial save. Trossard's wing play totally made that move. He looks like he's got something to prove! Tonight and probably in general.
9' Hodling with a royal f-up, gifts the ball to Haaland. But Turner to his credit comes off his line in a flash and breaks up the play. Haaland really shoulda scored there.
Our sloppy passing seems to have carried over a bit from the last match. It's not extreme, but against a team as good as them, we could get burned if we keep doing that.
21' Trossard with another good move (he had to wait quite a while for it to come to him) and forces their GK into another save. He's clearly been our most dangerous threat so far.
Trossard with another great shot from the left that requires a good save from Ortega. Overall, we are dictating play. Interesting how long it stays this way. Tierney and Tomi have both looked strong to my view thus far.
