Who would you rather have as the attacking midfielder this year for the Metros

    Or maybe all three,

Keep Williams, Get Cienfuegos in the wavier draft, and trade the allocation and a pick next year and inclde Richie Williams in there for Vaca.

    Play a 3-5-2

    Mathis and Moreno up front

Cienfuegos in the middle with Williams and Vaca on the wings. With Clark/Morre and Balboa as defensive mid.

Jolley, Pope, and Ziade on D

    Howard in the nets.

Hows that sound? We can dream right?

Sounds more like a nightmare to me. Imagine opposing flank players knowing they'll be going up against Andy Williams and Joselito Vaca, who have no interest in defending, with the 35-year old and gimpy-kneed Balboa and one of two kids covering ground behind them...

In a 3-5-2, your flank mids need to be defensively capable because they have no cover behind them.

This is a no-brainer. GET VACA!

As far as defense is concerned, if Tim Howard is so great than there'll be no problem leaving him with his pants down on occasion. It's called 'earning your pay.'

How much did you pay Howard to get his pants down?

    FILTHY MIND!

If I meant my comments to be interpreted that way then I'd be advocating the Metros get Jorge Campos as long as he brought along some of his delightfully cute outfits.

VACA def!!!! idk if you remember the metro game in august i think where ny lost to dallas 3-1? if u kept a close eye on joselito,,, he was open the whole game silently streaking through with speed beating the offside trap,, its just that the ball was never passed to him, we're lucky that the game wasnt at least 6-1

Vaca can play on the wing, but he plays best as an attacking mid-fielder.
