Definitely not: specially considering his age and how many few goals he scored. Imo, if Mty. get US $5mill at this point in time, they should laugh all the way to the bank.

    lol wow

well they did pay 4 mil for him am I correct?

I have a feeling this is a ruse to get him back at monterrey.

they are raising his price just to tell him nobody wants to buy him

one of the biggest fails for rayados is having a good striker healthy. unfortunately de nigris was injured most of the season. and it showed in libertadores and la liguilla.

Suazo should've never been sold to a Mexican team. This was bound to happen.

How is Monterrey responsible for no teams being interested in him? Unless I misunderstood your post.

Are you pulling my leg? Who the fac is gonna pay $25 million dollars for him? I love him to death, but you and I know that's a highly overinflated price tag on 29 year old player. So yeah, of course no teams will be interested in paying for him that much.

Sorry, I did misunderstood your post. I should read previous posts before posting :D. Truly an exaggeration by Monterrey valuing him at 25 mill. Either they want to scare off teams interested in him, or they're counting on him to have a Ronaldo-like WC to sell him for close to 15-20 mill.

even thou I agree with most of u guyz in that the price is over inflated

the thing is that Monterrey let chupete go on loan to la liga to make good on a promise to el chupete. that if he help bring a championship, they will allow him to go. but that promise came at a cost, a libertadores campaign and the bicampeonato. Monterrey was clearly the best team in la liga Mexicana but they just lacked that one finisher to put the final touch and score the goal, with aldo injured and val baiano sucking major balls, I just dont see el chupete getting sold or loaned out again.

so they put this ridiculous price tag to scare potential buyers

its a shameful tactic but I understand why they did it, plus they already made good on their initial promise to suazo.

if aldo would not be injured and val baiano lived up to whatever hype he came with, im sure that the monterrey front office would be more willing to agree on a more reasonable price tag on any team in la liga.

Not top Chilean player should go to Mexico...or they will die there. As good as that league is, its not the EPL, La Liga or Serie A.

Mexico should be for the Chamagoles, the Droguetts, the Mancillas....a guy like Suazo should have gone to Europe alongside Alexis Sanchez, Isla, Vidal. It's too late for him now, and he has himself to blame for exploding as a player so late in his career.

Totally agree with you, because of his age players start getting desperate & want to secure their financial future. Monterrey was more than willing to foot the bill.

Then they tag on ridiculous price tags & the Europeans rarely budge & why would they....they can buy straight from the source for mere peanuts. The Mexican Carlos Vela is a prime example. Barcelona getting Messi is another, and the trend will continue.
When Europeans do buy quality foreign players from the Mexican league they aren't even expensive, case in point Mauro Camoranesi or even the Mexican Guardardo. While others like Salvador Cabanas lounges about in Mexico with over inflated prices.

In Suazo's case Real Zaragoza can't pay what Monterrey demands either.
