The Icelandic 1. Delid season ended last weekend and Thór Akureyi won the league and promotion to the top flight. Chijindu scored 5 goals in 9 league games (7 starts) and was red carded once.
Actually, all I could find was that average total daily attendance was 13k for 6 games. Which apparently is very impressive for a country of only 300k. So you do the math.

Chuck scored is 7th goal of the season to day for Thor in a 2-2 draw with Fylkir. It was Chijindu's 7th goal of the season and he is 4th in the Úrvalsdeild (Iceland's top tier) in scoring. He is only 2 goals off the lead.

He scored in Thor's season finale for his 10th goal of the year. Today he was voted by the fans as the team's best player on the year
I wonder if he can parlay this success into a move to higher level of competition within Europe? Another Scandinavian league perhaps?
