We have missed on so many good chances on proven players like Vieira and Milito and Stam. We should stage a major Coup.

I think the answer to the problems would be signing Juan Roman Riquelem. He was easily one of the best midfielders in Europe last year and Barca made a big mistake in selling him. He is a fantastic playmaker who can change the game in an incident. He doesn't dwell on the ball often like others have mentioned with Reyes and C.Ronaldo. I think not only is what we need but he would be a cheap and realistic way of replacing Zizou. He has similar attributes to his game but obviously not to the extent that Zidane has. Nevertheless I think he would do a fantastic job in the centre of our pitch preferablly behind the strikers.

Riquelme is great in Villareal and La Liga, but i don't think he's got the speed to play in Real and CL, his physics just aren't enough.

In case you haven't noticed Villareal play some of the quickest football in La Liga probably quicker than us and Riquelme is often at the heart of it. lLus Zidane who I said he would be a good replacement for was never an extremley quick player but his passes, touch and vision made it happen for other strikers. These charachtaristics are similar to that of what Riquelme displays for Villareal. Riquelme is a lot stronger than he looks as well. If you seen the game last night you would have seen how he was not bullied of the ball by any of Valencias mean midfielders or defenders.

honestly, i think that real should get joaquin instead. Ronaldo is very talented but sometimes seems ineffective. I like joaquin to fill the hole that Figo left off

Playing both of them, then add Bechkam, Raul, and R9 who are starters by default, and then there would be a big headache for Luxa to choose only one between Guti, Zidane, Robinho, and some other MF that i may forget right now.

Plus with all the injuries we have had till now, i think Luxa has had his hand tied to make any experiment.

Joaquin is being critiziced by a important part of spain media for the same reason.

He won't play with with Spain NT the two most important games of this year, the games where we will fight to qualify for WC.

Luis Aragones, Spain NT manager has said that he hasn't called him, because there are other players in best form than Joaquin.

I would give them Ronaldo, Robinho and Baptista for Ronaldinho.
The best in the world right now IMO

You confused the subject in those two sentences... it should read "Joaquin is very talented but sometimes seems ineffective"

How come Real never take any contemplation on defenders?
As you know Real's defence is as weak as a broken-knit.

The 1-0 lovers live on defenders ONLY. You contemplete too much on defeneders. But you don't know what is happening in Madrid.

Samuel is not good enough for RM!

What have you got in your defence?!

Will this story never go away? Buying C. Ronaldo would be a waste of time and money.

cr7 would be a waste of money, unless he seriously improves his crosses and passes which he has not done since arriving at MU.at the moment he is as tricky as robinho but once he gets by a defender he gives the most amatuer, non accurate pass 95% of the time.joaquain will be a better buy for the right side, although i dont think we need a winger more a centre back ,as it looks woody might only play 2 games get injured and so on.gerrard and cicinho would also be a nice buy!

It would like to see Cristiano Ronaldo playing in Madrid. He's very talented, great dribble skills and he's got great crosses. He still has a lot to learn, but in a team like Real he can improve.

I agree his crossing is very poor, but I think this is because Man Utd have used him on the left too much. He has no left foot.

I think initially at Man Utd (I didn't see him play before that to be honest) he bore a great resemblance to Robinho. He took too much out of the ball. He tries to beat the whole team twice, but he did improve and began to really impress once he began to cross at the first opportunity (not the fourth). Since playing on the left he has become a non-entity in most games.

I wouldn't like to see Real buy him, unless they got him at a bargain (in some contractual way). I would prefer Real to buy Reyes before him as he is more talented in ways other than crossing. Also, with Beckham on our right, it would be likely Cristiano would be used in a position where he would be ineffectual.

This sums it up for me. Reyes is talented, but seems very frustrated at Arsenal.

Since garry neville kicked the ******** out of him, reyes hasn't been the same player.
