Doesn't Donyell Malen have similar profile of Pulisic? He was just signed on a permanent deal from Aston Villa. He's an inside-forward type that is best cutting in form the wings, attacking half-spaces, and driving at defenders. Malen's press and transition game is good and he's a little better finisher than CP. Malenis going anywhere, so Roma doesn't quite feel like the best option.
He'd be replacing Soule who would be sold. If Dybala re-signs, he's often injured. So he would compete with him for playing time.
I don't think the WC generally increases transfer market demand but in Puli's case the last few games shows Allegri was more the problem. He'd be one I could definitely see using the WC to get a move. Milan just isn't run well. Probably why he hasn't renewed. Rumors saying his agent in contact with EPL clubs. At 27 makes sense he's considering a move for the next cycle and thru his prime.
True, a few seasons in Europe provide much more meaningful insights than a few games at the WC. But a good showing never hurt.
So Milan was not willing to give Rangnick all the requirements he wanted for director and Milan seems to be moving away from Glasner. Sounds like the new lineup at Milan will be Markus Krosche as Head of Football (former Leipzig and current Frankfurt sporting director), Devin Ozek as Sporting Director (currently at Fenerbache) and either Ruben Amorim or Matthias Jaissle as manager.
Honeslty I think Amorim would be a better hire than Jaissle in a vacuum. But Amorim is very tactically inflexible - would Pulisic fit in that?

Milan is working to bring in Markus Krosche the SD from Frankfurt. Verbal agreement is in place, Krosche would be bringing his right hand man Timmo Hardung. I'm conflicted on Amorim. I don't fully blame him for the Man U debacle, but he's very dogmatic which is a red flag. IF (big if) the sporting hires are hits and give him the players he wants, I think his tactics translate to Italy better. Krosche and Hardung in theory are good hires though.
Amorim was a failure and out of his depth at United. His ego, tactics, and inconsistent player management led to his downfall. That said, it’s also fair to point out that Man U's front office and overall structure have been dysfunctional for years, which didn’t exactly set him up for success. Maybe the experience humbled him. If so, maybe there's a chance to replicate the success he had at Sporting. I’m not opposed to him at AC Milan, but I wouldn’t say I’m excited about it either. It has the potential to go either way—we’ll have to see how it plays out

His replacement sort of disproved the didn’t set him up for success comment. The dude played Bruno as a dm - and a simple shift of moving him to AM provided massive dividends. That’s what’s so disturbing about Amorim and his ego. Something that should be obvious to everyone.
Not bothering to link it, but the NY Post is regurgitating a rumor that Puli is considering a move to NYCFC. The post cites La Gazzetta, but their source tracks back to twitter. Not entirely different from Wes getting linked to FCC during the Copa America, except that Bogert eventually reported that Wes did 'meet' with FCC, but subsequent reporting made it clear that Wes was never serious about a move 2 summers ago.
Probably terrible news if you were hoping he would stay in Milan. Amorim's lack of flexibility was obvious to the entire world. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play for him now, but I'm not CP. I think he should go to Spain, personally. Real Betis and Villarreal will both need reinforcements. Or perhaps Como in Italy.
playing way too much into Amorim's rigid tactics. He played a 3-4-2-1 at Sporting and Utd and if Pulisic is either AM behind the striker, that should be no problem. I would argue those positions are more his thing than being a touchline winger. Especially with his improved eye for goal. He just spent a year playing as a CF/SS in a 3-5-2, often paired with Leao up top. This would be loads better for him in comparison. Milan need to figure out their RCB and #9 situation and they will be right back in the thick of a top 4 finish. They still have a world class GK, Gabbia and Pavlovic are fine. Rabiot/Ricci/Jashari/Fofana is solid in CM. Saladmaker and Estupinan are fine WB. Pulisic and Nkunku are good for the AM positions. Como will fall off hard losing Nico Paz, FFP, and CL. Napoli may take another step back. Roma is a question mark. I'm biased with Juventus, so no comment. Merda are clearly the best in the country
The man has picked up a langauge fluently wherever he has gone, speaks great German and Italian - why not add Spanish to his Arsenal!
