so... that's that for Allegri, right? 0-3 against a club with nothing to play for when next season is on the line???

 

Is pulisic actually hurt? Or is he saving himself for 3 group stage games?

 

Who knows, but if Leao's effort is any indication of the vibes in the locker room, I wouldn't want to play either. Allegri looks like he's totally lost this team.

Methinks there is a mutiny ongoing, these guys probably hate playing for Allegri. That seems the most obvious explanation to me. Even without Modric or CP, this team should be performing much better

Agreed. A complete 180 like this usually points to unhappy players. Almost seems like they want to get their manager fired, which has happened at many a club

Mutiny is not hard to imagine, their style of football has made me want to claw my eyes out, I can only imagine playing in the system is soul crushing.

If they fall out of UCL they have a fire sale right? The projected UCL participation payout is around 25 million dollars with about a 3 million dollar payout per win. So a team like Milan would be losing around 40 million dollars of revenue.

But I think that even if they do qualify, the board has to consider ditching him... he got the team to the top of the table, and then coasted off that, and now is hobbling towards a 4th place finish. They've had injuries, but... also... they've only played in 2 competitions this year, so those injuries can't be explained by fixture congestion.

He coasted off? Allegri by his own admission played Pulisic out of the position that he is most successful. A manager needs to put players in the postion where they can be successful.
