Milan has had the Reinjders contract extension news pinned at the top of their social media for awhile now, time to take that down.

Theo and Leao are out, I am still betting on that. CP getting lonely, one can see why he and the agent may be exploring options - but hopefully not just England - I still have my doubts about CP sustainability in the Prem.

But hey, he may stay in Milan if they can rebuild quickly. Nice place to live, and he did learn the language rather quickly

They need to get rid of Ibra before signing any Director, Manager, or players!!

Ibra arrived and Milan is out of European competition, and key star players are leaving. He's a cancer to the club.

Smart to take a wait and see approach. If Pulisic is - or will be - the only player of true quality in Milan for some time, he could be stuck there with no trophies or Champions League for a while. It already sucks that if he stays at Milan, he will have zero European competition at all next year, thus breaking his streak of Europe every year since he went Big Time.

It'd be a great disappointment not to see him in CL play next season.

I do not know the quality of the source but Simpremilan(sp) is saying that his agent is shopping him.

When it appears all the top players wanna leave it is toxic behind the scenes.

That's a fairly solid source. But rumors are rumors.

The smart career move for Pulisic might be to leverage the situation into an even better deal that makes him the highest paid player on the team. Does he really need 50 matches per season? European play probably isn’t the best for him if he wants to play well for more than another four or five years. Let him become the face of the rebuild. It may force him to be the team leader that he so desperately tries to avoid being.

That’s all well and good if he makes bank, but beware, more pressure comes with that paycheck. I stand by this, Pulisic is not a Leao. He’s not Lebron (insert Lebron of soccer joke), or MJ. He’s an excellent player who thrives as one of the top 2-3 guys in a squad, but I don’t think he can be THE guy for a top euro team with major ambitions - at least, not for a sustainable period. He’s better as a Pippen, and will need talent around him pronto if everyone leaves.

Milan's problems were primarily in the back. They just seemed to turn off their defense every so (too) often. They certainly could have scored more goals, but I think they were 4 or 5 in GF in Serie A, but too many dumb, often late, goals cost them the 7 or 8 points they needed to at least stay in Europe. CP gives you a lot of defense for the amount of offense he brings. But you either need your backs to be more consistent or Theo to be less of a raider (tho that will cost you goals) or use a set up that can cover for him more consistently. Will be interesting to see what they do on a personnel level, but I also think as long as anyone listens to Ibra, there will be a certain amount of deck-chairs-on-the-Titanic to it all.

One can only hope that like Zava before him, Ibra simply disappears to who-knows-where, leaving nothing but video of his amazing and entertaining footie skills behind.

If Europe isn't the best place for him, where does he move to? MLS and Saudi are the only places that could match his salary, but the level in the Saudi league is not high and Americans pay taxes on their worldwide income while the travel time and conditions (coach class travel) in MLS place their own physical demands

Makes sense to gauge the market and see if a return to a legit UCL contender is possible. If not extend.

He can be him on a mid team or a second / third option on a UCL contender.
Or he could go to MLS and BE WORSHIPPED AS A GOD!!!!

Napoli - Formation is what I'm guessing? Conte prefers 3-5-2 even if he's playing a 4-4-2 hybrid right now out of necessity. I think Pulisic is a better RM/RW than Politano.
Inter - Plays 3-5-2 and he isn't good enough to warrant a change of formation. DiMarco and Dumfries are better as wingbacks. Lautoro is pretty damn good and Thuram has better ST characteristics than Pulisic.
Atalanta - I think he could absolutely start opposite to Lookman as a trident with Retegui. Wages could possibly be an issue.
Juventus - def. offers more than Nico Gonzalez, I just don't see Juve spending much for a RW after dropping 40 on Nico.
Atletico - Not sure why he wouldn't work at Atleti. He works pretty hard and is pretty disciplined, but I can't comment on their tactical setup.

To be fair, original poster said "contender." Inter and Arsenal are the only contenders listed IMO.

Can you blame him, his team is finishing midtable and out of europe? Juve are a draw/loss on Sunday away from me being just as bleak.

It would be tragic if both Juve and Milan are out of the CL.
