Theo isn't going anywhere?? I saw him linked to como??? I suppose so..

As for leao best to keep him and hope he rebounds so his price increases.

Reijnders, Maignan, pavlovic, musah, emerson, Calabria, bennacer, jovic, Tammy, and hopefully origi go away.

You can get a player that will give you some production on both sides of the ball for the other 88 mins every game.

When he is on, he is magical, and he does things few players in the world can replicate. His game is so bipolar though, that when he does nothing magic, he mostly does ********all.

Gazzetta dello Sport player ratings: 1=low; 10-high.

Italian Serie A: Christian Pulisic helped set up AC Milan's goal and Yunus Musah got his first start since April 5 in a 3-1 loss to Roma that ends Milan's chances of competing in any of the three European competitions next season.

    SempreMilan saw things differently ...

Pulisic (7 – MOTM): Compared to the Bologna game, it was like night and day. He showed off his creativity from the start, finding space in between thanks to impressive movement and his usual technical brilliance on the ball. The pass over the top for Jimenez was just lovely and was the only reason Milan even had a chance tonight.

I’ve posted on here that Milan should sell everyone of value, including Pulisic. Musah has little value right now. But he’s more valuable than Reijnders was when he was Musah’s age.

Reijnders won’t be worth much next season if he fails to replicate his goal scoring form of this year. Based upon his history, I believe this year is an outlier. Guys don’t really just suddenly become goal scorers at the age of 26 and continue that for years to come. Simply put, your club should cash in.

He’s not making demands, he asking questions before he further commits his future, as he’s entitled to do. Who can blame him, Redbird and Zlatan seem to be running a circus.
I also imagine he already has inside info on which players are moving on, and he’d like to know about reinforcements incoming.

he’s in his prime, clocks ticking, and he would like a respected trophy next season. And certainly a guaranteed top 4 finish

Reijnders was pretty bad for much of last season. This year he suddenly started finding the back of the net. But he still doesn’t really do much else of value other than stay healthy and play every match. Literally, Leao might be a better tackler than him. He’s not worth keeping if teams are really going to offer €50-70 million. Take the cash.

TR had an exceptional season and was perhaps the most consistently important player for Milan this season, goals aside. But if any of the Man City/Real Madrid bidding war stories are true, Milan should probably take the money. They need to rebuild and while Reijnders is much better than you suggest here, I don't think he's the guy to rebuild this team around. He'll be more successful on an all-star team as one of his strengths is not needing to be "the guy" - he's actually very similar to CP in a lot of ways as his contributions can go relatively unnoticed and unappreciated. But he's a very good player who is hitting his stride.

Link? All I see is just pure rumors.

    If true, WHY Roma?

If Klopp wanted to try Serie A, I would have guess the BIG 3 clubs would be his destination.

Oh lol, I was just joking, sorry. I mean, it's possible, because of the Klopp-Puli connection, and frankly I'd love to see him play under him, but I hadn't actually seen any rumors.

When a team has to go to a 3-4-2-1 because they’re leaking goals people often blame the defenders. But I think the problem is usually further up the field. In Milan’s case they have a few guys that either can’t or won’t play defense. Think of Leao and Theo. But also Reijnders. He’s one of the worst defending midfielders in a top league. Something like 1% in tackling according to fbref. The other defensive stats aren’t much better.

If you are buying Reijnders as a Dutch say, Tyler Adams, yeah, that won't be ideal. But also, if you're deploying TR expecting him to effectively fill the LWB hole for a maurading defender, you're making a mistake. TR had 53(!) apps, with 15 g and 5 a on an underperforming team - as well as 3 goals in Nations League play - v. Germany and Spain. He, like AC overall, had some stinkers (ironically v Feyenoord among a few others) but you have to squint very hard to look at his season this year - and last season as well - where he "only" played 50 games and "only" had 4 gs, 4 as - and determine he's not a good player.

I think what this season suggests is despite his AZ play, he's more effective higher up the field at this level, or on a team that won't often ask him to fill in at FB. If Reijnders is the reason that AC went to a 3 (rather, than, say Theo going walkabout/being injured/coach trying to save the season and his job) that's a coaching issue, not a Reijnders issue. But we won't solve this. The guy will either get revealed at Milan for another season or another top club - or he'll keep doing what he did for AZ and now Milan.

I’m just getting Mason Mount vibes from him. Not really an attacker. Not really a B2B mid. But managed to strike the ball on target for a season and will likely cash in as a result. Anyone paying €70,000,000 will regret it within a year.

To a team like Man City, $70M is a drop in the bucket.
