As a coach, you got to love to have a player like CP on your team. A hard working player that also produces goals and assists.

So far I am not impressed with Morata even a little bit. The assist aside, he was a blackhole where attacks go to die.

Talented guy no doubt but wouldn't mind him sitting. He flops every time he's touched looking for a foul. Hate that.

Morata is pretty damn good at getting big clubs to pay him big money.

I believe that is his true talents.

Whether a yes or a no, both of these players are closer than Pulisic.

    However, as you've already said...

    Absolutely right, this.

the one goal was set up by a nice "on the platter" cross by CP to Morata ....

but other than that Morata was ineffective ....

I was actually surprised that for the first 60 minutes they did not simply look to feed the ball to Pulisic over and over again .... instead they kept trying to work the Rejnders - Okafor - Theo angle over and over again - with little benefit ...

perhaps they need to bring Abraham in for Morata and instruct the squad to work Abraham - Pulisic - Chukwueze - and Rejnders 65% of the time ... and use Theo and Okafor more as decoys and to stay wide left ...

just seemed that every time Pulisic was on the ball - good things were happening - or he made the accurate lateral pass ...

and yes RLC needs to sit ....

it is interesting in that with all this discussion - Rafa is just not central to their performance anymore ...

Hopefully, Don Carlo tells his players to take it easy on us.
After the third goal just pass the ball around. Lol

Has he start more games than Pulisic this season?

    EDIT:

Reijnders started 11 CL and Serie A games (he was suspended 1 game due to RED card)
Pulisic started 12 CL and Serie A games

Looking forward to the game today, not getting my hopes up for Milan, but it is an opportunity for the team and our guy to shine on a big stage.

Also, the match should help me stay away from today's election coverage (how does one self-apply a temporary, 48-hour coma?).

I assume CP starts, and there is a rumor Yunus may as well!

    Both Yanks start today.

Have a feeling CP going to spend quite a bit of time today defending Bellingham.

Any one guessing goals from Madrid will be coming against the left side of Milan today?

Pulisic pin point corner finds Tchaw head for a goal. Another assist for the good guy

outstanding game by Pulisic today ....

except for one bad pass in the defending third ... he had an amazing match ...

not just the corner assist and the hockey assist ... but passing, positioning and movement all over the pitch ....

the one point that just blew me away (saw the game live on Pmnt) was Jude B. saying "f you" to the sideline ref .... talk about poor character ....

the shoulder drive into Pulisic's head was not fun to watch - but Rudiger gonna be Rudiger and he is 6 inches taller than CP .... but he did slap his hand later as acknowledgement ....

Musah had arguably one of his most impactful games for Milan yet .... seems that maybe he enjoyed being back in Spain and playing the Galacticos?

Nice interview by CP with the Paramount team post-match. They gave him plenty of kudus.

Pulisic was good creating chances and taking shots. Musah did good all game long especially against Vini, but…

best three players on the pitch were Reijnders who was by far the best midfielder, Magic Mike was amazing, and Leao was the most dangerous attacker on the field.

And…Bellingham just seems like there isn’t a spot for him out there. Madrid have no midfield.
