The schedule is doing Milan no favors. This is a strong starting lineup (needs to be given how Milan started the Serie A season), but Milan play Liverpool a few days later for Champions League. You’d imagine this will be close to the same starting lineup for the CL game.

Mr. Golden Generation one of the Top 3 for Milan, one of the Top 20 clubs in the world (#21 as per UEFA but it should climb to around #17 or #18 soon).
10+10 - Christian Pulisic (14 goals, 10 assists) is one of 12 players, and one of only two in Serie A (Rafael Leão), with at least 10 goals and 10 assists in the top 5 European leagues since the start of last season. Contributor. pic.twitter.com/ZFVoMexWQh— OptaJack⚽️ (@OptaJack) September 14, 2024
Wow....that's crazy to think there are only 12 players with 10+10 stats in the top 5 leagues. Maybe he can achieve 15+15 numbers this season.
He is incredibly underrated. Just scored for the national team plus 2 goals and 2 assists in his first 4 matches this season. Picking up right where he left off last season. If he were South American or European they'd all be calling him one of the best players in the world right now. Instead he mostly get passed off as some mediocre American player by most of the footballing world.
That's completely untrue. ANYBODY who starts every match for AC Milan is taken very seriously. Many folks think the USMNT is a joke but just about no serious soccer/football fan thinks CP is mediocre.
Bro, there are MANY football fans that think this way about Pulisic. I promise you. You might just be stuck in that USMNT USA soccer bubble.
If he can do this consistently for a few seasons, there won't be any debate. However, his injuries at Dortmund and Chelsea has really hurt his performance. The reasons he's been able to produce at Milan is strongly due in part to his ability to stay healthy and not out injured for long periods of time. If he continues to stay healthy, his outputs will be consistently great.
I think a positive about Christian is he's done well in two of the top 4 leagues but ia really excelling now in a third.
How good would he be for the USMNT if he wasn't the focal point of the attack? I think that is one of the biggest reasons he is excelling in Milan.... despite his success I still get the sense that other teams worry more about Leao et al more. It clearly isn't the only reason... but I think it matters.
Negative attitude mostly from British fans who are the most arrogant in the world. I read alot of Italian press. Puli is respected
They may be “fans” but they are probably on Twitter. Any knowledgeable fan knows he’s a good player. One of the best in the world? That’s a stretch no matter what his passport says. I wonder where he ranks at his “position” though. Top 10, 15, 20?
The dude is one of the main players AC relies on. AC is a team that is second only to Real Madrid in CL titles. This conversation is really silly
