Watching America play right now and the stuff they are doing for Chucho, the way they celebrated their goal make me cry. I can't believe how touched I am for someone I don't even know. I miss watching Chucho on TV every week

I was thinking the same thing.

To see Montero agonize like that after scoring that goal is just so heartfelt. I think it's the emotion that all our NT/Ecua ballers feel at the present moment.

Right now the footballing aspect is secondary of course, but I must say was excited to watch the attacking quartet for the nanitos at Brazil '14: Valencia, Montero, Chucho and Caicedo  :notworthy: , Ecuador had nothing to envy from anyone else .

How do you feel his passing will affect the NT in the remaining qualifier games?

“I don't think it was anything else, apart from heart attack, and a heart attack could happen any time, to a healthy or unhealthy person, and we know that he was a very healthy person, he is a strong player, and this is just a heart attack,'' El Jaish vice chairman Nasser Mohamad al-Ali said.

Uhhh....I hope they realize he got that heart attack from shock from what happened with his appendix. He didn't just suffer a random heart attack...

We cannot trust anything that comes out of the official channels of that club or that league. I am sure these guys are worried about the PR of the Qatar league. They are going to do anything and everything to sweep this matter under the rug and go for new signings. There could not be a worse advertisement for that league than for the record signing to die after the first match.

When Chucho returns to Ecuador there should be a fresh autopsy done and more investigation. I hope FEF and FIFA do not back down on this.

Even Pele came out saying it was "an accident". Pele, as usual, should keep his mouth shut. Everyone knows he gets paid to be a spokesman for business interests that do not want things like this to get blown up in the media.

There is Ecuavisa here in the Bay Area carried by Xfinity/Comcast. They started the Codigo Deportivo with coverage of the plane almost in Ecuador. Still an hour away to arrive to Quito from what they are saying. Heart Breaking =(

I have Dish in South Florida, but we lost the channel several months ago! Apparently Dish didn't keep it on their latino package roster...sad. Looking for that webcast- Gamavision has one, but it's god awful...ridic choppy.
