Well, to be fair, the Danish Vikings did invade England and Paris and have (and kind of still do) help invade countries and have colonies around the world like Greenland and the now US Virgin Islands that was sold, I just don't remember us invading Belgium, can't be quite sure though, because it's difficult to keep track and I have not really had much time to watch the news this past week .....
Starts: Så kan vi præsentere opstillingen til aftenens kamp mod AGF. Der er kampstart kl. 19.00. #AGFHOB #HobroIK #sldk pic.twitter.com/gjsyaiKNAY— Hobro IK (@hikfodbold) February 28, 2020
Well, last week Hobro lost 0-2 to the most likely Champions Midtjylland in a game that seemed quite 50/50, and they should have managed a draw, had they been more efficient : They were in much bigger trouble away vs. top-3 AGF Aarhus this week but managed a 0-0 result, but with only 3 games left before the relegation play-off's their next game at home against Esbjerg is their most important game this season, as you can see by looking at the standings : https://www.bold.dk/fodbold/danmark/3f-superliga/
Scored a nice goal but Hobro cough up the late equalizer after Cappis was subbed out hobro needed this game
Wow... are they playing these games behind closed doors or something? At any rate... very nice goal....
The Danish Prime Minister has made it clear, that to stop the Corona virus from spreading it's preferable that all events with 1,000 people or more should be cancelled and so the Danish FA immediately told all clubs in the Danish Superliga and the NordicBet Liga to play with no attendance. So far we have more than 500 infected in Scandinavia, but non of them have died, so a 0% casualties out of more than 500 and as for the few who are in intensive care here in Denmark, non of them are in critical condition. All business taxes in Denmark has been cancelled for the time being, to help out and keep them from fireing employees, due to the lack of traveling and exports, and the Government are also going to cover some of the loss regarding the lack of attendance in sports, music, theater and other events that was suppose to have a 1,000 people or more attending. Public transport has also been doubled in rush hours where most people go to work, so that it will be much less crowded to keep down the risk, just as people are being told to travel outside the normal rush hours if possible or work at home if possible. I personally decide my own work hours and now have 3 weeks off.
All Danish Superliga games (and also including all other sports) have been suspended the next two weeks due to Corona virus, all day care, child care, public schools, university college and so forth are also closed and all public employees have been send home, with 2 week full pay, except for doctors, nurses, the police and whoever takes care of the elderly, sick or disadvantaged. As for the private sector, besides sports, pretty much everything will be closed down the next two weeks, including theaters, restaurants, bars and everywhere more than 100 people were suppose to gather. All business taxes in Denmark has been suspended for the time being. We do not have government-mandated minimum wages, because all wages are negotiated between labor unions and the workplace in question, with no interference from State or government, but the labor unions have agreed to a suspension and renegotiation of how to deal with the next two weeks, especially regarding theaters, restaurants and bars so that employees do not get fired. There will also be some kind of government compensation, also to Superliga clubs. So far there are 615 confirmed Corona virus cases in Denmark, 0 dead but 2 elderly people in critical condition. In all of the Nordic countries it now amount to 1,906 confirmed Corona virus cases, 1 dead (in Sweden) and 4 elderly people in critical condition, of which 2 are from Sweden.
As also written in the Sabbi thread, then the Superliga is back on track so this season will be finished and the first game, AGF Aarhus v Randers, will be played on 29. May, where AGF Aarhus will be presenting the worlds first virtual soccer grandstands and stadium (you can pick up your free virtual ticket) : https://www.agf.dk/football-is-back-in-denmark-the-worlds-first-virtual-grandstand-opens-in-aarhus/ Because Hobro also are going to face Randers in their first game after the corona-break, it's not quite sure when it's going to be. I suspect it could be on 1. June, but this is just a guess.
The Superliga schedule is now in place ... the AGF vs. Randers game has been moved to 28. march, so that Randers is also able to play against Hobro on 1. June.
