To all who did not see the highlights .. Lyngby won promotion from the NordicBet Liga and have as little money to spend on reinforcements as Hobro, so they are pretty much the same team that won promotion, except picking up some free transfer leftovers from Brøndby and AGF Aarhus, but being a top 2nd level team they are much more attacking minded and also in general more technical skilled than Hobro, so unlike a hgihly defensive minded Hobro that aim for a draw or a narrow lucky punch win, they either win or lose :

Not really ... Amon has suffered too many injuries, while Cappis has not ...

Lots of clubs are reportedly eyeing Cappis for a January transfer..

Horbo dont have a ton of money so it is a matter of time before they sell him if the money is right. Seems that is Norway's a lot like most leagues They sell off most of their assets for pay days.

Cappis is quietly carving out a nice name for himself. He needs to be smart and find a team that suits his style of play combined with the ability to see the field with depth ahead of him. Im looking forward to seeing his career hash out.

It is funny that the US takes so much crap yet their highest transfer ever is 22 million.

Central Midfielder in defense. German teams I could see him playing well for.

    Woflsburg, Schalke and Freiberg...

If you ask me Wolfsburg would love him employing so many midfielders as they do. I think cappis would work best with them.

also to answer the question, he gets forward at times and passes well as a holding midfielder..

he tracks back well and supports the back line well when needed.

He is an 8. He is about 6'2.
Who does he play like? I would say he defends like a young Bradley and passes like an Italian league Bradley. He does have a nose for goals when given the green light. He scored the tying goal in our last U20 friendly vs France. He did not make our U20 WC roster.

Tab had some marginal misses with that u20 roster and leaving off Cappis was one of them. IMO he figures to have a much better shot at full USMNT than Durkin (due to better motor) or Servania (due to better technique and passing). Will be interesting to see how CM spots shake out for U23s.

It is nice to see the two US players right next to each other. I wish it was on ESPN+. Anyone w/ a linky?

I guess I was a little late... already over. Sabbi appears to have missed a penalty.

Tough loss for HOB. They had their chances. Sabbi is a handfull, fast and strong. Even after getting Boucher from behind he continued the play.

P.S. Cappis not involved in any of the goals

Not a great day for Sabbi, tbh. Had two great chances to put it out of reach.

I love how often they work that same move. The curling ball behind for him. Needs to bury one of those two, tho.

The curling ball by the Armenian International Edgar Babayan is kind of his trade mark. If you watch the highlights once more they are calling it a brilliant "Franz Beckenbauer" kind of pass ...

Yeah, there was that great brace a couple of games ago. I think both were off that pass. He really knows when and how to hit it - but Sabbi times those runs into space great as well.

Especially the last one.... but even the best fail sometimes when the keeper charges out and makes himself big. Really, he missed three chances but got lucky that his missed penalty was followed up. He is an intriguing player.

He's always been intriguing.. especially going back to the youth levels. Athletically, he's ridiculous but putting it together consistently has been a challenge. I heard he struggled at the last U-23 camp too.

We will see. I can see it going either way with him.

I like Cappis. He was impressive in a Dallas system that had a lot of good players.

Both players need to move on quickly. The bottom of the Danish Superliga might be useful to get your foot in the door as a professional, but it's not a high level.
