    Thanks Ceres.
When I have watched it seems that Cappis is very submissive to Radosevic. Really doesn‘t try to impact the match much. I know this is probably by design but do you see Chris becoming more aggressive overall recently?

Well, the Croatian Radosevic is the team captain (in the absence of their long term injured CB Andreas Maxsø ) and has played 147 games (6 goals, 10 assists) as a defensive midfielder for Brøndby and has played in the past for Napoli, and in the Europa cups and Leagues of Croatia and Austria for Hajduk Split and Red Bull Salzburg, while Cappis is younger, obviously less experienced with 64 games (1 goal, 6 assists) for Brøndby and is considered to be a box-to-box and all-round player, even playing as a left back in this game vs. OB Odense where he did an excellent job, so Brøndby have been moving him around to play in different positions, either due to injuries and because of the lack depth and better options, which is also why he usually play all 90 minutes, no matter the position. So it has nothing to do with Brøndby thinking less of him, but actually believing in him being able to do a great job all over the pitch.

Thank you. Chris is a plug and play guy. Being that versatile however can have career drawbacks unfortunately.

Strange, the coach has kept Cappis in central midfield, just like in the last game, instead of moving him around, which obviously is good for him, but now that team Captain Maxsø this back in central defense, he coach has instead benched their vice-captain Radosevic to move their Danish NT full back Daniel Wass into central midfield.

Early yellow for Cappis. Down 1-0 on an early penalty; Cappis was right next to the play, but I'm mostly sure the penalty was called against Maxso.

Well, finally having team captain Maxsø back and playing from start in defense, apparently made their coach believe it would be a great idea to bench their vice- captain and replace him with an even more highly experienced Daniel Wass (who granted, has played 113 of his 225 Spanish league games in central midfield), but this has all seemed to backfire, at least at the start of the game, so perhaps this was one change too many, or just too soon.

Brøndby lost to Midtjylland by 0-2, not surprisingly as such, because Midtjyllad have a vastly higher budget and a more experienced team. Brøndby have, for good reason, desperately been looking for a good striker in this transfer window, which is noticeable, but their main problem seem to me, that their coach have had a very hard time finding a real "General" in central midfield able to distribute the ball and lead the "troops" so to speak.

Only a few games ago he symptomatically had moved Cappis from CM to left back position, and in this game it was the experienced vice-captain Radosevic who was benched in favor of their vastly more highly experienced Denmark NT right back but newly signed Daniel Wass, hoping that he would show the needed leadership in midfield. Instead it was the very inexperienced New Zealand NT DM Joe Bell who for the most part was trying to distributing the ball, and not really doing a very good job of it, no doubt because it was not suppose to be his job in this match.

Wass did play in the midfield often for Valencia, so I've seen him there a handful of times while he was chosen over Musah. I think there's a pretty good chance he'll make a strong addition there or wherever he plays for them as soon as he's really integrated.

Seems like a good situation for someone to step up in midfield and impose themselves more....but also maybe like the dynamic from the management wouldn't allow that?

Is Cappis capable of doing more and being held back by tactics....or is a support role his current ceiling?

As mentioned earlier, then Brøndby were desperately looking for a new striker, and so they have managed to sign the Norwegian born striker Ohi Omoijuanfo, who made 92 goals and 21 assists in 249 games in the Norwegian league before moving to Red Star Belgrade in 2021, where he made 10 goals in 18 league games before now being sold to Brøndby.

When he was playing for Hobro, his tactically understanding was his main feature, so this is not what is holding him back.

Comes in, apparently in the midfield, and gets the go-ahead assist. Unfortunately, they conceded a late equalizer.

Copenhagen equalized in the 98th minute. Heartbreaker. Win would have vaulted them into the top half of the table.

Cappis starts and goes the distance in a 4-0 Cup loss to second division Aarhus Fremad. So ... not a great day.
