Could be an opportunity for USMNT folks (and Berhalter) watching Aaronson to get another look at Cappis.

He started today, but Brondby are losing and Cappis was removed at 62’. Anyone watched or have any insight?

Big setback as Christian was one of several Brondby players to test positive for COVID-19. He's unlikely to play in the Champions League playoff round against Salzburg

Brøndby have said goodbye to several regular starters in this transfer window
    https://www.transfermarkt.com/brondby-if/alletransfers/verein/206

They have also been getting several offers on their captain and key CB Andreas Maxø and then on top of this, no less than 7 of their players, including Cappis, are out with Covid-19 :
    https://www.transfermarkt.com/brondby-if/kader/verein/206

So it was a bit of a miracle that they only lost 1-2 away to RB Salzburg in the first leg of the Champions League play-off's ... Midtjylland btw also got badly struck by Covid-19 after they beat Celtic but then lost to PSV in the CL qualifiers.

Entered a 0-0 tie at the half, left a 2-0 winner. Didn't see it, so I'll assume there was a correlation.

Entered in the 69th minute as a central midfielder, maybe shaded to the left, all touches video here. 0-0 draw.

Cappis came on in the 77th, in time to watch Wright-less Sonderjyske score a stoppage time game winner. Not sure what's wrong with Brondby, but it's a long way from last year so far.

Bar down. That's a nice goal. Haven't seen the other one and this is probably not a good opponent but you've got to play well anyway to convince the manager and Cappis is doing all he can to earn a starting spot.

No wonder they are tagging the other goalie for 5 goals and counting. This is the first time I have seen a professional goalie that is short and with a beer belly.

Cappis is playing the Aaronson position, that is as a winger that comes inside just outside of the box.

    An assist. is 7-0 now.

Now is 8-0. There should be a mercy rule for this one.

You still haven't - this is a semi-pro fourth division team.
