according to this link: http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_...line-passes-dc-to-honor-an-alum-and-more.html Christian Camera, who scored against Real Madrid in the Dynamo U18 team's 3-2 victory over the galacticos youth, will go on trial at Valencia for one week. The funny part is that Camera is listed on the U15 squad for Houston, and was born in 1994 according to this link: http://web.mlsnet.com/t200/youth/academy/u15/ he plays for Eclipse, a club that appears to have several affiliates all over the US, and is predominantly sposored by Nike. http://www.eclipseselect.org/index.php
Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_...d=6a00e54ef2975b88330120a50570c5970b#comments Per Ives Galarcep, Houston Dynamo U-18 prodigy, Christian Camera has earned himself a one week training stint with Valencia after impressing during Houston's upset over Real Madrid in Spain. I have no idea if Camera is a citizen and know nothing about him. But just thought I'd post the news here. As we know "training" is trialling in some ways!
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia I guess he is a 94. He is therefore only 15. Is he a US citizen?
I must say I can't really picture a YA at Valencia. I apologize for being so negative, this is an interesting development.
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia I hope he stays with the Dynamo. There building quite a youth program and I can't see them letting him get away.
this also gives me an excuse to revive this thread!!! https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=930474
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia just saying, but I would take Valencia's youth setup over the Houston Dynamo's in a heartbeat. Besides, if at 15 he is good enough to score goals against Real Madrid for the U18 team, he has to be a decent youth player.
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia Plus............Valencia's got to focus on youth right now. They're in massive debt, are selling players............and still massively in debt. It's a shock to me that Villa and Silva are still there.........and I bet Banega doesn't last till the end of the transfer window.
Well you better start getting used to it. Enric Alegre has been there a while. http://www.youtube.com/user/ealegreb
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia If the Dynamo youth squad is doing as well as what is reported, then why have him leave? They obviously know what they are doing, The RBNY youth are looking good as well. Keeping our Youth teams intact maintain that we keep our national Club teams intact, raising the level of play in our own backyard.
I stand corrected. I shutter to think I could make such an error. Thanks for posting that film of him.
Ahhhh.. Enric finally makes it to the YA board... Congrats kid! I'm telling you... in WC 2022 Enric, KJ Ahlo, Eric Valentine and "El Gato" Obragon are gonna be our key to flowing, attacking, beautiful soccer. On a Serious note, he's goal to games ratio is pretty good, assuming that's true of course...
I think "El Gato" Obregon is with AC Milan U12? I Hope Christian Camera impresses in his trial with Valencia..
Dynamo Academy rosters Christian Camera, F, Eclipse, Fort Bend Elkins H.S, 8/8/1994 Kneeling fourth from the left.
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia Not any more, Valencia had reportedly half a billion Euros pumped into them by some investors. There was also a Carlos Slim rumor floating around a while back. Banega probably wasn't the right fit for Vaelncia especially at the price they paid.
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia Vicente Soriano is a liar and that is nothing more than an unsubstantiated rumor. Those investors don't really exist. Also, I love Banega as a player, but you're right, he is not at good fit for Los Che.
Re: Christian Camera Earns Training at Valencia Thank you for the correction. The debt talk seemed to die down after he returned, I thought he handled it. I stand corrected. Did he find a buyer for the Mestalla though?
