Could see the triple threat - Palace win the Conference League, Villa win Europa League, Arsenal* win Champions League. (I know, I know, how are they beating Bayern or PSG?)
That guy gets to have a say too. He was good the other night when he came on! But Athleti still seemed pretty close to choking on the corn dog, you know?
Richards took over for the injured Lacroix at center CB and played pretty well. Nice to see him perform well at this integral position.
A triuck of money for him, or for the team? Glasner wants a new challenge and thinks (rightly) the time is right to move on. He told the chariman he won't sign a new contract. I'm sure he knows even if they give him that truck full of money the money won't be there to build the team. Why take the risk that your team gets worse due to lack of funding and your stock goes down from its current peak?
I believe the "why" would be the truck and the money. (not saying it's worth it, but you get paid well to take that chance sometimes.)
Yeah, it obviously comes down to both club chances and $$ and if you can improve both, that's the play. CP seems like one of those teams that has enough history and a good enough location it could imagine stepping it up a bit in "stature", but that takes a big investment over a number of years. Hard to pull off, then you stumble into the kind of season Spurs is having and yikes!
The entire footballing world that cares about humor is against Palace today. Sorry, Chris, them's the breaks.
Yeah, sorry, hate to cheer againt one of our guys (especially an FCD alum). But something beautiful just may happen if WH can win this game.
Not getting the joke ... https://www.hammers.news/news/cryst...ham-uniteds-hot-streak-to-spoil-survival-bid/ Richards wants to stop West Ham momentum Speaking to News Hopper, the American international said: “West Ham are a team fighting for their survival. They’ve cut a hot streak as of late, so hopefully we can cool it down a little bit.”
0-0 draw, game really lacked in quality. The result keeps both teams where they were in the table (13th and 17th), Palace go to Anfield on Saturday ahead of their Conference League semifinal against Shakhtar (Waxtap) in Krakow next Thursday.
