this person described it pretty well Richards is still in a good spot. Tenoria and Stesjkal talked about how highly Bayern rate him.... also, Arrey-Mbi is left-footed, so he is natural replacement for Hernandez, who is left-footed LB/CB. Richards is right footed CB..— Mr. Front Page (@MrFrontPage) June 2, 2020
Yeah, two CBs in the 1st team injured, and they're bringing up a 17-year-old from the U-19s instead of him? There might be people affiliated with the team who still say they rate him, but the actions taken point in the other direction. If he doesn't at least get some training time with the 1st team in these last few weeks of the season with the title all but clinched, I can't imagine he's in their 1st-team plans for next season.
Yeah I'd say there is rating a player as a professional prospect for Bayern i.e. this player will likely be able to play in the 1.Bund some day vs rating the prospect as someone with a high likelihood of playing for Bayern some day. Signals seem to be that they do not truly rate him at the top of the Bayern prospect pile BUT that doesn't mean they don't rate him as a 1.Bund prospect i.e. a valuable prospective asset.
Well, he was busy starting for the reserve squad today: Und so spielt Preußen Münster:#FCBSCP pic.twitter.com/D90Bf9gelZ— FC Bayern Campus (@fcbayerncampus) June 3, 2020 They won 3-2.
Making the 1st team for Bayern is pretty tough. Seems like he is in a perfect spot for a loan spell in the Bundesliga.
Bayern II wins again... 3-2. Richards draws a yellow in stoppage time. I was hoping for a YouTube video replay. Not sure how quick the turn-around would be. Bayern II is now in 4th place w/ 47 points. 4 teams are tied at 47 and the leader is at 48 and 6th place is 46. Super tight race at the top of Liga.3. If they can move up to promotion by the end of the year then another season with Bayern II wouldn't be bad at all for Richards. You could do a lot worse than Liga.2.
I didn't know that. I thought they couldn't go to the top tier but I thought Liga.2 was an option. In that case, I hope Richards gets a loan to another Bundesliga Team because his chances of breaking thru at Bayern w/o it seem to be rather thin.
Much smoother on the ball here. Less hesitation and sound decision-making. And some authoritative defensive work. What he doesn't show though is Richards shares some blame in both goals due to not anticipating and committing.
Can def see the second goal somewhat being his fault for not catching the runner peeling off, but curious what you saw in the second to give him some blame?
He could have not gotten turned around (questionable technique) and then stepped out to put a little pressure on the shooter. May be harsh, because you don't expect a score from there, but he did, and Richards could have done better.
Richards goes another 90 minutes today as Bayern II continues to stay hot. So lame they can't be promoted. 17-year-old Musiala subs in for Tillman and scores two goals late. Hoping to see an all-touch video or a replay....
Just a heads up... Looking at Live Soccer Streaming & TV and it says that the Bayern II game will be streamed on YouTube on Sunday at 8AM. Chris will likely start again <fingers-crossed>. Might get to see Tillman as well. Tune in!
Too bad they pulled it. So lame. Thanks anyways. EDIT- Nevermind. Just have to go to youtube directly. TY!
