What does coach see in Klein, the gap in the level of play, when Earnie came in for klein was wide.

You need to watch Klein in the MLS, you need to have seen his two goals for the USA in his last 3 matches, you need to remember his performance during the world cup qualifier, just before injuring his knee in Barbados that sealed our qualification through to the next round.

Yesterday was not a good day for Klein, his crosses were too long, the balls played to him were too long, he had a bad day, there's no doubt about that.

His goal against Jamaica, by the way, IMO, was better than Donovan's was yesterday.

Klein will not likely be a "1st 11 player" regularly, but he will play a part in our qualification.

I hope not. Im sick of his shots from the middle of nowhere and constantly losing the ball. We have better options. He may do good in MLS, but there are better players then him for the National Team.

Who are the better options on the right. Obviously we all love Earnie, but we all have to admit his time is running to an end. Whether it be after qualifying or after the world cup, eventually we will need an EArnie replacement.

With regards to Klein, I just don't see the speed difference between himself and Olsen. Maybe its just the way he plays. But I don't understand how Olsen isn't quick enough to play the wings at the international level, but Klein is quick enough.

Regardless, after Earnie, I think we are short on the right. LD obviously, Reyna obviously are options when qualifying roles around.

It seems like Klein never is really involved in the game. He will just get the ball every once in a while and take a shot. He never actualy contributes to an attack.

it was obvious he wasn't having a good game, but he was one of the better players in the Canada and Jamaica game. There wasn't a single player crossing the ball well until Earnie came in. Convey's crosses and esp. his corner kicks were dreadful. Get used to Klein being around.

I think if Olsen gets to 85-90% of his pre injury form (speed, quickness, etc) he will push Klien out.
