I just noticed that too. So rare to see games from Belgium. I hope he starts.

    First, define “success”

Is starting for the 15th team in the 18 team Belgian league success? It’s okay and not bad for someone his age. But success?

Also define “high profile.” Durkin wasn’t a starter at DC

Even among American players at DCU to move to Europe and do well, Sanneh comes to mind

Najar had a decent run at a bigger Belgian team. But that’s still not much.

Kitchen level success. If it's not oxymoron.

Andy Najar was very good, at one point even the best right back in the Belgian league. But then injuries completely destroyed him.

Yeah, I'd put it at Nelsen, Sanneh, Convey - don't forget Convey started on a Reading squad that shredded the Championship (106 points in '05/'06) & despite injury issues he never really overcame, Convey made 29 PL appearances.

But let's not forget Pablo Hernandez, who played a half-season on loan in 2010 before terminating his loan. Hernandez played 4 seasons in La Liga with Celta de Vigo (118 appearances) and made 30 appearances for Chile's national team.
